I wasn’t going to leave a bad review and then I thought it was my duty. I had an emergency- I SCRATCHED my Cornea. I had both Vision and Medical insurance and confirmed Dr. Griffin was an approved provider. After paying my co-pay I received a bill. The eye exam was covered under my Vision Plan and the Urgent Care was covered under my medical provider benefits. I contacted Total Vision billing and notified them that they, per my insurance, had not coded the SCRATCHED cornea (white of my right eye) correctly. I continued to receive the same bill. Then they sent me to collections. A scratched cornea is Urgent Care and is covered by my insurance. They can not code accurately and you will pay for it. BE CAREFUL…now I go to Costco. The BEST EYE CARE EVER!

Such a wonderful place, I called about a recent eye issue and out of genuine concern they were able to squeeze me in right away for a medical visit. Every single person I interacted with was professional, upbeat and just nice to interact with. For the first time in a very long time I felt like I was getting upfront honest medical guidance along with putting my well being first rather than other medical experiences where i felt it was about the profits. These places are super rare to find these days and I would absolutely recommend this place !!!! More businesses should model what they are doing!!!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Got eye infection after a routine yearly eye exam vist at this location. Called to inform them of the situation. The guy who answered the phone said that it had to be a coincident and it had nothing to do with my eyes constantly touching their equipment during the exam. He quickly started asking for my insurance coverage and was concern about who would pay for the new visit???? I have an absolute great coverage but the way he handled the call, was absolutely redeclious. It was all about a $60 visit charge and he was going on and on.....nothing about how I was doing nor my health but all about who wld pay for the new visit.... Finally I went back to see the optometris. It was a new dr. He was nice and appologic. He prescribed antibiotics. When I went to my pharmacy to pick up the medicine, the pharmesist said the order mistakenly was for only one pill instead of 30 (3×10days). Pharmacy said they tried to reach the Dr for correction but recieved no response...... So all together "the worst experience with 5days and counting of eye infection..... WOULD NEVER GO BACK.
I went to this optometrist in the past, but for some reason they have my number in their system for multiple different people. I've called 4 separate times to get this resolved; each time, they say they've taken care of it. I've had reminders and calls sent for multiple people I've never even met (i.e. Mary Ann your eyewear is available! or a call for Elizabeth regarding her appointment the following day). I have no idea what's going on that my number somehow ends back up in their system under new people every time, but it keeps happening. If you go here, just know that your information is likely being shared with other people you don't know due to system inconsistencies (and likely staff incompetence).
