From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with genuine Greek hospitality. The staff were incredibly warm, attentive, and made us feel like valued guests rather than just customers. Their friendly attitude and excellent service truly reflected the spirit of Greek culture.
The food was absolutely outstanding. Every dish was fresh, beautifully presented, and prepared with authentic traditional Greek flavours. You could immediately tell that quality ingredients and great care go into every meal. The grilled meats were perfectly cooked, the sides were full of flavour, and everything tasted homemade and authentic.
The atmosphere was warm, relaxed, and inviting, making it the perfect place to enjoy a meal with family or friends. It’s rare to find a restaurant that combines exceptional food, authentic tradition, and such outstanding hospitality in one place.
Thank you for such a wonderful experience. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for genuine Greek cuisine and first-class service. Five stars are truly well deserved! 🇬🇷

I have been here a few times. Quality is consistent. Atmosphere is great. My parents are from Greece so I have a good reference point with regards to Greek food. Today we ordered the village salad, the moussaka, the pastico, the octopus, the Greek feta fries, the trio which is tzatziki hummus and baba ganoush served with warm pita bread, and to top it off the loucoumades for dessert.
The moussaka multiple layers of very thinly sliced potato and eggplant perfectly cooked with a great bechamel sauce on top. I tried to get all the layers in the photo. I hope it came out okay. Octopus melted in your mouth. Not chewy at all and the olive oil they used was unbelievable. It's too much work for me to make pastico at home so I usually just order it out and theirs is great. Feta fries had a great flavor and were soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. The dessert is hard to explain, but it's like a fried ball of dough dipped with honey, cinnamon and topped with some crushed walnuts. They serve it with whipped cream drizzled with honey. Really amazing combination... It can be busy at times but we went in there at 3:30 after running some errands and there was no one there except a full compliment of people helping us... It was great!

Well executed. Nice spot with a relaxing indoor atmosphere and wonderful patio as well. Friendly service and clean environment. I got the gyro salad which was a generous portion and included fresh ingredients that was delicious. I started with the triopita which was flaky and flavorful. If you’re looking for Mediterranean style food put Hreek Bistro on your list.

Greek Bistro in Laguna Hills, California is a family-owned Mediterranean restaurant known for serving traditional Greek dishes such as gyros, hummus, tzatziki, and grilled meats in a casual yet upscale dining environment. The restaurant emphasizes authentic flavors inspired by Greek culinary traditions while maintaining a modern California dining atmosphere.
I came here one evening with my wife to try this infamous gem in Laguna Hills. It's rare to find a dining establishment rated 5 stars with 2k+ reviews, but if you really read into their reviews, you can tell that many of their reviews are bots with fake profiles to enhance their Yelp ratings. But it's just a marketing tactic that seems to be very successful for them, because it piqued my interest in trying it. And of course, their accolades and awards were something to consider as well.
We got seated inside, and it had a very red-themed lounge vibe feel to it. Feels like an upscale modern restaurant with beautiful Greek coastal decor. My wife and I ordered their Gyro special plate and Shrimp & Ouzo Saganaki appetizer.
The shrimp appetizer came out on a flambe sizzling platter. Prawns were plump, juicy, and delicious with the refreshing pico de gallo added. A well-seasoned and perfectly executed seafood dish.
The gyro plate was good too, not the best tasting I've had, but the portion was big enough for us two to share. The vegetable skewer, gyro, pita, rice, and hummus were just average. Nothing extraordinary. I have to say everything was fresh-tasting, so I have to give credit when it's due.
As for the bill, I was not a big fan of the hidden credit card fee. I don't understand why a successful establishment like this has to charge its patrons extra to use their credit cards. At least give us a warning or a heads-up beforehand, because new diners like myself wouldn't know unless we've eaten there before. There's nothing I despise more than restaurants tacking on hidden fees after paying. It definitely left a bad taste in my mouth. If you're going to accept credit cards, then deal with the fees the credit card companies charge you guys, not your customers.
