I am extremely disappointed with the level of unprofessionalism at Gold Coast Dental. My mom and dad had an appointment scheduled yesterday at 10 AM with both the dentist and the hygienist. They showed up on time, only to be told that neither the dentist nor the hygienist was available. Instead of honoring their scheduled appointment, the front desk staff simply pushed them to reschedule for next week. This is absolutely unacceptable. Patients arrange their schedules and take time out of their day to be on time for their appointments—it is the clinic’s responsibility to ensure the providers are available. There was no prior notice, no courtesy call, and no effort to make the situation right. The lack of organization and professionalism at the front desk reflects poorly on the entire practice. If this is how they treat their patients, I cannot recommend this office to anyone. Respecting patients’ time should be the bare minimum standard of care, and Gold Coast Dental failed at that completely. This place deserves 0 stars.
I was visiting from out of state for work, had an unexpected dental emergency. I was able to quickly be seen could not be more thankful for my experience with this practice. Everyone was so kind, professional and got me taken care of within a few hours. To the staff, thank you again - you truly made this the best worst case scenario for me.
Avoid this office if you want your time to be valued... I had to visit this Tustin office twice before because of their unprofessional work behavior. And today, again I lost my valuable time including a wait time of 10 minutes, trips, totaling 38 minutes (7.9 miles). The staff contacted me and texted me once to remind me of my appointment. Upon arriving, I was informed that the doctor wasn't available and he had an emergency, I wasn't notified beforehand although they had enough time to inform me. I understand doctors can have emergencies but I am a phone call away!!!! The young man asked me to come back again tomorrow like I am a person who does not have anything to do but come and go as their wish. I asked if the doctor stepped away or did not come at all and the lady at the front desk said he did not come at all. Then how come you did not let me know? Are you living in 1800s? You have a system in front of you and all the necessary equipment to see that I have an appt coming up with the same doctor? This lack of communication resulted in unnecessary trips. It would be appreciated if they informed patients in advance about such changes. But aside from fake smiles, they have nothing to offer not even an acknowledgment of their disrespectful behavior towards their patients or an apology. I have encountered a similar situation at their Orange clinic as well, impacting my trust in their professionalism and patient care. At their Orange location, I had my scan completed and left after they told me everything was set. After few minutes, when I am on my way home, they told me to come back and take the CD for their Tustin location because they cannot do it electronically. Long story short, please find another clinic that has more PROFESSIONAL front desk manager who can handle emergency situations without disrespecting the patients or their valuable time.
Amazing place they cleaned up my cavities real quick. I arrived and they helped me out with my dental I definitely recommend these folks.
I have been a Gold Coast Dental patient for about 2 years now. This was the first time I had been to the Tustin location and I have now made this my permanent location. My crown dislodged on Thursday and Fernando was able to get me in the next day. Through the appointment Fernando was great in explaining the financial side of it and helping me through insurance. Mari & Dr Hemeda were amazing throughout the entire procedure. I’ve never had a dentist stop and actually explain all the options and pros and cons, it made me feel a lot better about everything. Coming from a childhood where I was never taken to the dentist it makes me nervous and I definitely felt good in their hands. I appreciate everything they were able to do for me.
