We were at a get-together recently with friends that ordered Gibroni’s pizza and it was delicious. We were able to sneak away early about 11ish for lunch today at the restaurant, both the salad and pizza were absolutely scrumptious. Delicious homemade pesto sauce on the Detroit style pizza. I believe they have found the pizza niche in cool San Clemente. We loved the great service, friendly staff, clean tables, restrooms and restaurant. You can tell they take pride in their establishment.Highly recommend!
There's no other way to put this, Gibroni's is a top if not thee top pizza in OC. I have read so many reviews and finally got a chance to try it and it did not disappoint. My friend and I ordered the pepperoni pizza and it was plenty for two people. My friend and I absolutely devoured the pizza it was so delicious. The crisp yet fluffy crust was definitely the highlight, but I also thought their pizza sauce was on point. It was light, bright, good tomato flavor which balanced the richness of the rest of the pizza nicely. The service was friendly and there was plenty of seating to hang out and chill. Highly recommend this spot, would definitely travel 30+ minutes for this pizza!
Literally the best pizza I’ve ever had! This Detroit style pizza is amazing & the bread sticks we ordered were awesome as well👍 If you like pizza hit up Gibronis! Friendly service, great pizza, what more do you want?
Not sure if the pizza we received reflect the overall quality of your place, as I see mostly positive reviews everywhere, but I must share that the pizza we received was far from what I expect a detroit style pizza to be. We ordered the pizza through uber eat. The pizza was soggy, filled with oil, did not have any crisp and appeared to be doughy and slightly undercooked. A very disapppinting first time experience.
Can't speak to the taste of the pizza- no vegan options but it looked amazing! Atmosphere was a Michiganders dream- the place itself is a lot bigger than I expected with plenty of indoor seating, bar seats, and a patio. Lots of TVs to catch the games and of course plenty of Vernors and Faygo!
