You can tell she genuinely cares about their customers and put so much thought into every piece they carry. The clothing is beautiful, unique, and such great quality. It’s so refreshing to support a family-owned business that puts so much heart into what they do. Highly recommend!

My favorite local boutique in San Clemente! The staff is always so attentive, friendly, and genuinely helpful without being pushy. They make shopping such a pleasant experience and are great at offering suggestions. Thank you for always providing amazing customer service—I’ll definitely keep coming back!

The cutest clothes ever! Super high quality clothes (many brands are Italian -which are some of the best in the world) at a great price. I went in to get outfits for a trip to Italy and found so many things that looked fab and keep me cool in the heat. Highly recommend!
Bonus: It’s located in beautiful Downtown San Clemente - so fun to walk along to visit all of the shops and restaurants.

I bought a sweater and wanted a second one in a different color. The attendant helping me looked to see if she could order it. She said she found one and asked if I would like her to order it for me and I said yes. I was told I had to pay upfront. I did. After a few weeks. Heard nothing back so went to the store to inquire about it and was told it was not available. I requested a refund. After all I paid for something I never got. The attendant called the manager who told her she would refund it. Didn’t happen. I filed a claim with the bank. A few weeks later bank sends message that they sent message to retailer without any response. Returned to store to inquire and was told basically to get on with it as refund was coming. Manager told me on speaker phone she would call bank and get back to me. She was not very friendly. As I Write this I still have heard nothing back. The issue doesn’t stop here. I will continue pressing her for my refund.
Reading other reviews I see this has happened before. A word of caution to those intending to make a purchase at Free Bird. Make sure you have the item you want to buy is in your hand and that you are certain you want it . Should you decide otherwise you’re up against never receiving any sort of expected normal customer service.

This store is absolutely wonderful! High quality, soft fabrics, unique and easy-to-match colors. The owner is really nice and she sources her pieces from abroad. I loved shopping with her, she had some excellent styling ideas and it was a joy to meet her. This is a wonderful small business and her prices are great. Nordstrom rack is way more expensive and I way prefer to support a small business. You should totally stop by!
