Great location! The restaurant was a bit small but they had a nice patio set up. Plenty of umbrellas and heaters. We had a party of nine, but since they weren’t busy when we got there, they were able to accommodate us easily. I think if we were to come at a little bit busier of a time it would be harder for them to accommodate just because of the amount of tables that they have. I would suggest calling ahead if you have a group larger than six.
The menu was good, small, but a variety of options. Their margaritas were good, nothing special.
Service was great, and we didn’t have much wait time on anything. Drinks were refilled quickly and the server offered modifications that made ordering for kids easier. She also quietly and discreetly asked if we wanted dessert. We ended up ordering it, but it was nice that she said it quietly that way my boys didn’t here. It’s tough going out and not getting dessert but when my boys hear the server offering it that’s all they want. It was very kind of her.

We come here often!
Hugo is a fabulous bartender, always smiling and makes the best margarita! Clean, light and perfectly balanced.
The food is consistently delicious and the atmosphere is bright and lively.

I absolutely love downtown san clemente and the restaurants and bars there. Reading the reviews I was very excited to try this restaurant and add it to my rotation of favorite spots. I was unfortunately very very disappointed by the slow and poor service! I arrived late to my party and waited a very long time to have my order taken. During our dinner one was offered a refill on our margaritas, and a few of us would have DEFINITELY ordered more if it was asked/offered. There was almost always a delay when asking for things missing at our table, long waits for people to cash out who had to leave early. Food was pretty good. The table salsa was extremely salty but the chips were good. Don't think I will be returning.
Good deals on their happy hour on Tuesday.

Oh goodness. Why did it take us over a year to find out about this place??
First: you can either park along el Camino or parking is along Avenida De La Estrella located right above restaurant. There is a stairwell that brings you right down to it.
Be sure to go on Tuesday… taco Tuesday… where they have a phenomenal/affordable menu! Honestly the best shrimp taco I have ever had. I’m just sorry I filled up on chips.
They are only opened for lunch on the weekend.
The best part… PET FRIENDLY PATIO!!!!
Update: Doug and I have gotten to know our waitress amber. Bless her.. she waits on the whole outside and she hustles. Food and spirits all so good. Thanks Amber for always remembering 2 ice cubes and being an outstanding server.

Came in for a quick cocktail and to check it out. Ended up hanging out here for a couple of hours. Service was spot on and the bartender and manager were awesome. They have an awesome selection of tequila's and were very knowledgeable about them. They gave us chips and salsa when we sat down and chips were fresh and salsa tasty with just a slight spice. I ended up having a fish taco which was really flavorful. Happy hours price are really good as well. We saw quite a few dishes going out and the food looked yummy. I'll post up another review next time we stop in to eat.
