Beyond their size, small businesses are defined by their spirit. And at the helm are their intrepid founders—scrappy, ambitious, and resilient. They invent and build things despite uncertainty, because it’s what drives them. Their risks lead to innovation that moves the world forward. And we need them.
We highly recommend FV Pizza Dz. Food is excellent and very reasonably priced. Service is some of the best in Fountain Valley. Vinny (our server) recommend the spinach lasagna, and he was spot on. Very fresh tasting, with delicious marinara sauce. We also got the garlic cheese bread and a "giant slice" cheese pizza. Every thing tasted grate. Super happy with this restaurant.
Wow! With over 20 years of working in hospitality myself, I was so IMPRESSED here. Michael the owner makes your dine in experience magical, he goes way above and beyond. Desiree the super cute and very friendly great server was the cherry on top. I will 100% be back soon and I will 100% recommend this awesome family pizza/italian restaurant to all my people. THANK YOU MICHAEL AND DESIREE 🖤
This was my first time going to Pizza D's. I discovered it by driving by there......so I looked it up on my phone, since their big banner outside advertised all you can eat BUFFET! On their website it shows a wonderful variety of everything from pizzas, potatoes, veggies and different pasta dishes.......so I knew I had to try it. Well, I waited in my car for them to open, and it seemed like nobody was there, until a little after 11, two guys walked in, so that was good, cause I was ready to drive away. SO...... when I go in, no buffet. As it turns out, their new buffet system is bringing limited items to your table. They have a menu with what you can order from buffet. I had a piece of cheese and a piece of veggie pizza, salad, spaghetti marinara, dry hard garlic knots, and paid separate for an order of garlic fries. And water, since drinks aren't part of buffet. It all tasted OK.......it was a meal. My server was attentive. It wasn't what the pictures on the website show........I'm sure those images were PRE-pandemic (before 2020).
i got a 14" pizza ($17) with pepperoni ($2 per topping), so it was $19 total... it weighed ~38oz (and the pizza box by itself weighs ~6oz, so just the pizza is ~32oz)... it's my favorite pizza in the area... i like how the sauce is not too sweet... i like the amount of cheese they put on it... i like how the crust is crispy... the only thing i don't like is how the dough is a little bit tough and chewy... my favorite topping to get is either extra cheese, pepperoni, or mushroom...
I took my family out to dinner tonight and decided to go to Pizza D’z. We typically go to the restaurant in Huntington Beach, however, because of our time constraints, the Fountain Valley location was our only option. This decision ended up being one of our best dinner experiences we’ve had in years. Our waitress was Mo Mo and from the start greeted us with a big smile and got to work on our drink orders immediately. What was so impressive was her high energy, incredible humor and of course her customer service that few people seem to have these days. The food is always wonderful at Pizza D’z but because of a late start in the evening getting to dinner, we ended up having one of our best experiences dining at a restaurant that my family has had in many years. The friendly atmosphere and great food is why we come to Pizza D’z, however, the extreme fun and entertaining customer service from Mo Mo will have us coming back to this location every time! Thank you Mo Mo for such a great dinner experience and having us laughing the entire meal. Keith
