Hello, I’ve been coming to this location for about three years now, and while the doctor is wonderful and professional, I cannot say the same about the front desk receptionist. I called at 10 AM to order contact lenses and paid upfront over the phone. As usual, I asked for a contact lens trial while I waited for my order to arrive. The receptionist told me she would ask the doctor and get back to me. Since they close at 5:30 PM and it was getting close to 5:00 PM, I decided to follow up. I called at 3:00 PM, and the receptionist told me she still needed to check with the doctor and would call me back in 20 minutes. Two hours passed, and I didn’t hear anything, so I called again. The same receptionist answered, and once again, she said she still needed to ask the doctor. Then she said, “Hold on, let me ask the doctor right now.” It took her less than two minutes to ask, and Dr. Lin, being as amazing as always, gave me a few pairs of trial contacts. I was a bit upset that I had to call multiple times throughout the day to get an answer, especially when it only took her two minutes to check with the doctor. When it was time to pick up my order, I called to let the receptionist know I was running 1 to 2 minutes late and that I really needed my contacts since I was wearing my last pair of trial lenses that Dr. Lin had given me This was on a Friday so they close at 5:30pm. The receptionist told me they would wait until 5:32 PM. However, when I arrived at 5:32 PM, the office was already closed. I truly believe that excellent customer service is what keeps customers loyal, but unfortunately, I don’t feel these receptionists are going the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction. They are not good representatives of an outstanding doctor like Dr. Lin. I live in Pomona, and yet I’ve been driving all the way to Santa Ana to see this optometrist, but now I will have to look for a new one.
I love Dr Lim, she's super nice and knowledgeable. Also both ladies in reception are very welcoming and sweet. Definitely my favorite optometry.
Been going here for 6 years with my family, and I loved the original Dr. and Staff. This new Dr. Lin is awful. Completely unprofessional and rude. I got a very important call during the eye exam where I just needed to write down a name and number and she literally told me to hang up the phone, I told her it would be less than a minute and she told me there are people waiting and that I would need to reschedule. The call was 47 seconds long and she walked out and made me reschedule. Needless to say I will never go back along with my family of 4.
5 Stars - Truly the Best! Dr. Lin and her amazing staff always go above and beyond! Every time I visit, it’s not just for a routine check-up — it’s because I really need to see her. And without fail, they always find a way to accommodate me, whether it’s same-day, emergency walk-in, or the next available. This last visit, I just knew something was wrong with my vision. While my family kept saying it was in my head, Dr. Lin truly listened. She ran all the tests, took her time, and confirmed what I had been feeling — my eyes had drastically changed since my last visit. What I appreciate most is how caring and patient Dr. Lin is. She explains everything clearly, shows the difference between my old and new prescription, and makes sure I leave feeling hopeful and well taken care of. Thank you, Dr. Lin, for always listening, for your compassion, and for treating your patients like family. I’m beyond grateful and excited to come back and pick up my new prescription! It's always a friendly visit here. Dr. Lim always puts us at ease for our annual eye exams. She explains everything clearly. The office staff also is friendly. Our new glasses were ready just a week later.
