Tender, juicy, loaded with flavor and grilled veggies, and served sizzling hot like they were fresh out of a telenovela plot twist. The portions are generous, the plating is beautiful, and the service? Warm, welcoming, and fast without feeling rushed. The menu has all the classics (enchiladas, tacos, soups, mid-day combos), plus a thoughtfully crafted margarita and cocktail list for those who like their lime with a little tequila and their tequila with a lot of flair. Excellent service, especially considering I was sitting at the bar and not drinking. The meal was decent but nothing special. The salsa was a standout item!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We’ve been going to El Zarape in Cypress for years, and it never disappoints. We visited again on Valentine’s Day, and despite it being a busy holiday, everything was excellent. The service was friendly and attentive, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the food was as delicious as ever — fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. The margaritas were perfectly made and a great addition to the meal. What we appreciate most is the consistency. It’s rare to find a restaurant that delivers great food and service every single time, and El Zarape does just that. Highly recommend if you’re looking for authentic Mexican food and a great dining experience.
I enjoyed chicken mole enchiladas, also the ceviche was delicious and fresh! Lots of lemon juice and such a great flavor. The service is amazing because there’s plenty of waiters and waitresses checking on you. I highly recommend El Zárape for your next awesome foodie experience 😊
Food is well worth the price, both the amount and quality. I don't think he was a server but the gentleman Ryan needs to be. He is very kind and helpful and checking just the right amount on us. Our waiter was also good but didn't get his name. Anyways love this spot.
