My appointment was rescheduled twice. The tech was prepared. He concluded that I needed a new soap dispenser machine $400. I obtained a second opinion who assessed that the internal processes were old and I needed an entire new machine. Since this technician was not receiving a sales order. I trusted him. He told me where I could go online for the best deal. Good thing I didn’t pay $400. to find out it still didn’t work.

Had Rodion from D&V appliance Newport Beach come out and diagnose a problem with our double oven. Spent about an hour with diagnostics.
Told us it needs a new door latch, main control board and controller board 2.
Rodion returned about little over a week later later with the parts. He spent just over an hour doing the repair. Everything worked as it should. He was polite and respectful the entire time.
Now for the issue I have with this company.
Their pricing is not transparent. They over charge a ridiculous amount for parts. Example is, main control board that is a Maytag part sells online for $277.
They charge $450 for the same part. Now I can understand that they need to make a profit, but let’s be reasonable. $450 for a $277 part is not reasonable. The other parts were marked up a ridiculous amount also. The total labor rate for the job was also ridiculous. $350 for labor!
That’s more than $150 per hour!
I called the company and talked to them. They refused to give me any type of discount, saying that you’re getting a 5 year warranty and he also replaced a part that we did not know about for free. Like this is supposed to make it ok to over charge for parts. They also told me that the labor was in line with the appliance repair industry. My car repair tech does not even charge that much per hour for repairs.
Bottom line, I will not use this company again for the warranty if our oven breaks again during the warranty period.
They overcharge and will not negotiate any lower pricing. I do not recommend them to anyone.

Once again, D&V show their professionalism. This is the third time I’ve used them - each time with a very satisfactory result. First, my dishwasher, then my refrigerator. This time, it was my wine cooler that broke down. They came within a couple hours! My go-to appliance repair folks. Honest and excellent service.

He knew exactly what was wrong and how to quickly fix it. I had time constraints that he managed perfectly only because he knows exactly what he’s doing. No guess work just a skilled technician. The cost was just exactly what expected—no last minute surprises. And he is very well groomed and polite; that makes a difference if you want to hire him back.
