So I had other dentists who told me that my fillings I had since childhood were still “good”, but Dr. Blanco warned me that underneath these fillings, there could be cavity since the fillings had become “sticky” on exam. So I went ahead and got them re-filled and boy was I glad! I had cavities under two of them!! (Dr. Blanco sent me the pics and showed me in person during the procedure). I really appreciated how clean he kept the work space and how delicately he worked on my teeth. He made sure I was numbed up good and made sure to ask me about my pain during the entire procedure. I had no pain! The first photo with that necrotic looking area was my cavity hiding under the filling. The second one is after it was perfectly fixed by Dr. blanco! Can’t recommend him enough! I’m now on my Invisalign journey with their dental office and so glad I started it!
I honestly can’t say enough wonderful things about my experience with Dr. Blanco and his team at Tustin Smiles. From the moment I walked in, I felt completely cared for. The front office staff is always so welcoming, professional, and organized — they make scheduling and check-ins super easy and stress-free. Dr. Blanco is an exceptional dentist with an incredibly gentle touch and highly trained. I had to get a crown recently and the procedure was so smooth and comfortable as it can be — never rough or rushed. He takes his time, explains everything clearly, and you can really feel how much he cares about his patients and their comfort. The technology in the office is top-notch too, which makes the whole experience even better. A big thank-you also goes to his amazing dental assistants! They’re kind, attentive, and make you feel relaxed the whole time. Everyone in the office works so well together, and it really creates a positive, calm environment. What stood out most to me was how Dr. Blanco took the initiative to create a plan to help with my jaw and teeth alignment — something I’ve wanted to take care of for a long time. His thoughtfulness and genuine care for my long-term dental health mean so much. If you’re looking for a dentist who combines skill, advanced technology, and true compassion — along with an incredible support team — I can’t recommend Dr. Blanco and his staff enough!
I suffer from tremendous dental anxiety. Dr. Avetoom was My Dentist for years, and when he retired, of course I was extra nervous. So of course I would end up needing Major work. Dr. Blanco, and His Staff are the Best there is. My anxiety is a life long issue for me. To the point of having a service dog with me at All Times. Dr. Avetoom always welcomed my partner, and Dr. Blanco is the same. They didn't make me feel less than, because of my condition. In fact, they openly discussed it with me, and Have made aevery effort to keep me calm, explain procedures before during and after. As a team, going to Dr. Blanco is like visiting with friends. I can imagine I am not the easiest client they deal with. But they never make me feel like I am anything less than important. 5 stars. 5.5 if it were allowed. Ohh. And my teeth.... Beautiful. Couldn't be happier.
I had recently moved to the area and found Dr. Blanco and his office. He is extremely patient, personable and explains everything very concisely and in easy terms for me to understand. I had to get my first crown here (sigh). I even anxiously called in to ask about the sensitivity on my tooth and he was able to fit me in for a quick check the next day. Even though he was very busy, I never felt rushed and he answered all of my questions. His front desk staff are welcoming and helpful as well!
I came in today To start my Invisalign treatment with a Dr Blanco. To start off right away coming into the office I get welcome by Danielle. She is super sweet. She’s is very knowledgeable of what she’s doing and very helpful. Doctors assistant Esperanza she’s a kind lady makes you feel comfortable. Dr Blanco Is an awesome doctor he likes to make sure that his patient understand The treatment you are getting and the reason why. I highly recommend this place everyone here is super nice and it looks like the doctor knows exactly what he’s doing
