Beyond their size, small businesses are defined by their spirit. And at the helm are their intrepid founders—scrappy, ambitious, and resilient. They invent and build things despite uncertainty, because it’s what drives them. Their risks lead to innovation that moves the world forward. And we need them.
This beautiful family-owned restaurant brings Italian hospitality to another level! We live in Vegas, and anytime we are in SoCal, we come to Dominic's. Our favorites are pasta alla vodka, chicken parm dinner, and the appetizer sampler. And always finish w espresso and tiramisu. Shout-outs to Lisa, Nathaniel, Michael and Katie- they are awesome!
Breaks my heart to give 3 stars because my husband and I used to love this place so much. I’m not sure what changed but this is the third time in a row we’ve been served burnt breadsticks. I had to ask for non burnt ones and I watched non burnt light golden breadsticks get served to everyone around us and had to ask three separate times before getting more breadsticks and we got served the ones in the photo which were not as burnt as the first batch but definitely more burnt than others we watched get served around us. They were also naturally dry being over baked. The breadsticks are the best part and a huge reason why we come here. Disappointed for a few times in a row now and will probably try to find another go to Italian restaurant.😞
I had high expectations for Dominics Ristorante Italiano but unfortunately, it was a complete disappointment. For what they charge, I expected high-quality, flavorful pizza, but instead, it tasted no better than a standard Costco pizza—bland, uninspired, and definitely not worth the price. The dough lacked texture and the toppings felt like an afterthought. It was underwhelming, to say the least. And don’t get me started on the pesto pasta - this restaurant was seriously stingy on their sauce and pine nuts. Breadsticks on the other hand were a little salty - far from being called “famous breadsticks.” Buon Gusto’s and Roman Cucina’s foods are just fraction of Dominic Ristorante’s cost but they taste so much better.
I was visiting soCal and friends who like this restaurant suggested we eat there. Food was nice, but not 5 star. My friends love the rolls. Rolls were good, but I have had better. I had the minestrone soup and shrimp Valentino. The sauce on the shrimp was tasty. My friends really enjoyed the lasagna and other pastas. We were fitted on the patio. After the food was served, we saw little of our waitress. Would have liked to be checked on more frequent. While it was a nice restaurant it does not meet 5 stars in my opin.
I’ve always loved this restaurant, but today was a terrible experience. The singer kept staring at my 8- and 9-year-old nephews and even threw a candy wrapper at us. I tried to ignore it, but then she stopped singing to tell my nephews their iPad was too loud. When I approached her about it, she snapped at me. What really upset me was that neither the owner nor the waiter apologized or acknowledged her behavior—they just gave me a blank stare. Very disappointing.
