Beyond their size, small businesses are defined by their spirit. And at the helm are their intrepid founders—scrappy, ambitious, and resilient. They invent and build things despite uncertainty, because it’s what drives them. Their risks lead to innovation that moves the world forward. And we need them.
For a public course in California the price can't be beat for 18 holes with a cart. The course condition was ok but I wasn't expecting Torrey Pines. You kinda know what you are getting for the price and I was 100% ok with it. The staff was friendly and Debbie behind the bar poured a great Capt and diet coke. I'm from Wisconsin and this was my first time golfing in California. We had a blast!! It was a pretty challenging course and I'd definitely come back when in the area.
Decent 18-hole course. I've only been playing 2 years and it was pretty challenging. You'll use all your clubs, and bring lots of balls. Be advised they don't sell any canned drinks only fountain drinks at the clubhouse. We played a twilight round so it was not very crowded relatively affordable. Unfortunately though we were behind a junior tournament (all walking) so the pace was slow. I can see this course being very popular since it is centrally located. The driving range is across the street and you can't take your cart with you.
Booked a morning tee time but was forced to cancel upon arrival due to limited push cart availability. There was no prior notice that riding carts were not allowed because of wet conditions, and this information was not communicated at all during booking. What made it worse was the staff — they were unhelpful and showed no concern whatsoever. After a long drive to get there, it was extremely disappointing to have to cancel without any reasonable support or solution. A real shame and very poor customer experience
Great local course played many times can play slower just because of crowds in California especially on back nine. But always fun and a good challenge on an old course with beautiful huge trees
Showed up at the range this morning at 8AM and the ball dispenser was closed. I ended up waiting 40 minutes before I decided to leave since the person collecting the balls never came back to fill the machine. During this time multiple people were walking onto the range and picking up balls themselves so they could hit while other people were hitting. Someone is going to get hurt eventually from this. This isn’t the first time this has happened I don’t know what they changed but I’m either waiting for a spot to open up or waiting for balls to get added to the machine. If you’re thinking of getting a membership for the range I would hold off until they fixed the issue. I would have thought increasing the membership price would result in better service since it used to be $45, but I was wrong. I plan to cancel my membership after this month and wait until the problem is fixed.
