Course is always in great conditions. For twilight this is my go to over the summer. 23 dollars to get in 9 + holes in 2 hours can’t complain. The only caution I would give is on the weekends if you’re not one of the first out plays slow. Tee times every 10 minutes your looking at 5 a 1/2 hours plus round.

Staff and facility are great. The course and greens are well kept, and it's only 50 bucks!! But wait...and wait...and wait...If you work from home, want to play, and you can handle all your business on the phone, do not take a PTO day to play here, as you will have plenty of time to take care of everything while waiting on the next tee and the next tee. The 1st 3 holes take an hour and 15 mins. The front nine took 3 hours.
Our tee time was 11 AM; we teed off at 11:23 AM, and by 12:40 pm we were walking from the #3 green to the #4 tee. See the pic. A group had just teed off, and we were now the 3rd group up on the par-3 4th.
Have a Zoom meeting and want to play golf? This is your place, no problem. Just tell your client/co-workers you will start the meeting once you get to the 4th tee. How someone in management has not told the beverage cart to just stay at #4 is a bit confusing. #4 was one of the very few tees with a bench to sit on, but they should put 3 of them there and move it away from the current location, as the hacks on #5 tee are slicing their drives at you and not always screaming "FORE", so sit at your own risk.
A group is scheduled every 9 mins, and they can't shove you out there that fast. You will be saying hello and getting to know the people in front of you (and behind you) all day, so if you're looking to make new friends or get a golf tip from a stranger, this should work for you.
If you have a group of 8 or 12 golfers, CM is perfect; you guys get to see each other and talk every hole. The back 9 is in even better shape and plays faster, since so many golfers "just say no" to it and head home at the turn.
Again, the staff is very nice, the greens are great, and it's 50 bucks to walk. BTW... a great driving range... they get it. A bucket is not cheap, but they keep the balls fresh and new, and you get a choice of grass or mats. The practice putting greens (Two) are amazing. I'll be back at the range for sure; it's really one of the best. Hope this helps.

Can only comment on the driving range but its its in decent and offers hitting on grass as well. The putting greens are well kept for a public golf course. Only thing I didn’t like was the staff in the office are not the friendliest people around. Maybe let the guy up front have a few more rounds as a perk for working there may cheer this guy up.

3.5 hours to play 9 holes today, an average Monday. I had enough time to start and quit smoking before we got to the 5th hole. It’s an absolute travesty because the course is well maintained and fun to play, but you can barely call it golfing when you wait 10-25 minutes to tee off on every hole.

Do it Jae’s way!!
Just finished my third pack of lessons with Jae at Costa Mesa Country Club, and the improvement in my swing is utterly bonkers. His approach is simple — no daft alignment sticks or nonsensical training aids/gimmicks, just clear, easy to understand coaching focused on swing fundamentals.
Every lesson was both fun and rewarding, with concepts explained in a way that makes sense. I’ve taken 15-20 shots off my average round, which speaks volumes about the quality of his instruction. Now if I could just stop bloody peeking!!
If you’re looking for thoughtful, effective coaching that delivers real results, I couldn’t recommend Jae highly enough. Stop wasting time at the range practicing bad habits, or sitting at home searching for local instructors! Jae is the way. I wish I’d met him years ago.
