Beyond their size, small businesses are defined by their spirit. And at the helm are their intrepid founders—scrappy, ambitious, and resilient. They invent and build things despite uncertainty, because it’s what drives them. Their risks lead to innovation that moves the world forward. And we need them.
Tried the 6” meatball sub, and it did not disappoint. The baguette was perfectly crisp outside, soft inside, holding up well to the rich marinara and melted mozzarella. The meatballs were tender, flavorful, and packed with classic Italian seasoning. Paired with a bag of Maui onion chips, it was a simple yet satisfying meal. Cortina’s nails quality, from the food to the efficient service. Whether grabbing a quick bite or stocking up at the Italian market, it’s a go-to spot.
sadly they close early but whenever I do get the chance to stop by, I always enjoy it. the cross fit is perfect, one of the best sandwiches I’ve had. they have indoor and outdoor seating, which I can guarantee that you will be comfortable with either or!
I've been a customer since 1968 at the original Cortinas in Anaheim. The one in Orange is just as good but a smaller menu so if your craving a good sandwich the Cortinas special (pictured) you cant go wrong. The one in Anaheim has a full service deli plus Italian food their lasagna can't be beat I grew just around the corner never had a bad meal I live in the IE now and still make the trip just to eat there. If you go at lunch time be prepared to wait but it's worth it.
Been here 3 times already. Love their pizza and sandwiches. Pasta was good but not great. Pricing not bad. Hard to find seats if you go on weeknights during peak dinner time. Turnover rate is pretty fast though.
Can confidently say this is one of the best Italian sandwich spots in SoCal. My family have been eating here for years, and the quality is always top notch. I usually get the Rocky Balboa which is porchetta with cheese topped with broccolini and spicy oil served with Au jus. This sandwich is one of my favorite sandwiches of all time. My family also enjoys the fireball, the cortina’s special, and the spaghetti. If you’re looking for some great Italian sandwiches, check out cortina’s!
