Beyond their size, small businesses are defined by their spirit. And at the helm are their intrepid founders—scrappy, ambitious, and resilient. They invent and build things despite uncertainty, because it’s what drives them. Their risks lead to innovation that moves the world forward. And we need them.
This is a fantastic restaurant in Dana Point with exceptional service and a welcoming atmosphere. It’s a popular spot, so reservations are a must on Fridays and weekends. Their menu offers a great selection, but the highlight for us is undoubtedly the pork chop—it’s hands-down one of the best in Orange County. The chop is perfectly grilled, tender, and bursting with flavor, with just the right amount of juiciness. It comes with fig jam which makes it even better. We find ourselves returning often just to enjoy it again. The drink menu is equally impressive, featuring a solid collection of cocktails and beers that complement their dishes beautifully. Highly recommend!
First class staff - food was close to perfect all around. Parker house rolls could have been dessert - Salmon cooked perfectly - prime filet juicy - crab cakes were a nice surprise. The Starter House salad was the favorite of all. Clam chowder was delicious. Outstanding experience - only slight negative was music got a little loud at about 5pm. Definitely coming back
Service was great, the food was delicious! The pork chop is huge and coked perfectly. I highly recommend trying it out. It's best to make reservations, but they squeezed us in, thankfully.
The best I had this vacation and we had some good food! Location is pretty, staff is awesome and the food is even better!
Great restaurant, both indoor and outdoor tables are great. The menu is simple but the taste is special. Even the ketchup is homemade, the burger is fantastic from the bun to the patty, and the ribs are incredibly tender. The rest of the food was also excellent, and I had a great time. However, there is not much parking space. You should go early or park nearby if there is no parking space.
