CJ's a local gem that's been around for years. They offer hot and cold sandwiches, salads, breakfast, teriyaki, and more. A great spot for affordable breakfast and lunch. You can dine in or take out. I've been coming for a while and appreciate the kind and quick service. The dining area is clean with a few tables.
I mainly get the sandwiches here, but the chicken soup and teriyaki bowls are also delicious. The bread options for the sandwiches and veggies are always fresh and prepared well. My current favorite sandwiches are the Trilogy, Chicken Salad Sandwich, Submarine, Gary's Slice, and The Club. They also offer a variety of cheeses and ingredients to add to your sandwiches. You can make it your way.
I recently got the 1/2 sandwich and soup combo and was pleased with the chicken noodle soup. Flavorful broth without being too salty, with lots of shredded chicken and spiral noodles. It came very hot with crackers on the side. Upgrading the combo with a drink and chips makes for a tasty meal.
Prices are fair and worth supporting this local spot. Lunchtime is the busiest (as with many places), but I haven't waited too long to place an order and receive my food. They also offer delivery (with a minimum order) and catering.
Parking is available in the small lot in front. If the front lot is full, there is also an entrance located behind the plaza, where you can find additional parking.

This place, hands down has the best sandwiches! I make it a point to stop every time I'm in town.

4.5. 1/2 star loss because they ran out of squaw bread, the reason I was there. Squaw bread is a popular choice. Decided on rye because I like to choose breads that aren't typical. Avocado, bacon and turkey on rye instead of squaw. Sounds like an odd combo but it worked. This was hands down one of the best sandwiches I've had. Bread was fluffy and soft. Avocado and turkey were plentiful. Bacon crispy. Ordered a large combo but should have ordered regular. Will go again. Hopefully, I can score some squaw bread.
Update - had #46 deli-k-sea on squaw. Soooo delicious. I had to go back for more. Tuna on squaw bread with avocado and pepper jack cheese. It was all I could think about afterwards. Chef salad was also good. What you don't see is the spinach leaves mixed in, thinly sliced eggs and avocados and shredded carrots.

Yeah, the place was good. The sandwich came out super quick easy to get In and out for work. We’ll go again if in the area.

Tiny place but excellent sandwiches! Owners are funny! 15 minutes from Disneyland. Pastrami, very tasty, cooked. Soft bread, you can specialize what you prefer, very accommodating. Ham sandwich shown. Basically a way a sandwich should be made, to your liking. Our go to sandwich place when we head out that way! The reviews do not lie. In a strip mall on a corner.
