I’m going to call this place The House of Smiles!! Before we stepped inside a gentleman welcomed us on the sidewalk with a huge smile on his face. He took us inside to be seated and introduced us to another smiling face. She took us to our table. Then Joan came to our table side with a big smile. I genuinely think that all those smiles were because they knew we were in for a treat! First they sat down a bottle of water, fresh bread made in house, their already mixed dipping sauce. Okurrr! I ordered the Butternut Squash Soup. Oh my sweet Lord it’s very delicious!! Then the calamari with tomatoes, a sauce drizzled over them and a lemon wedge on the side should win a prize. It was cooked perfectly. They are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. NOT RUBBERY AT ALL! Even the Charred Edamame had a sauce on it like I’ve never had before. They didn’t just throw some salt on it. The yummy Pappardelle pasta was magnificent. They have a nice variety of different salads. Yes, that was scrumptious too! I love the ambiance. The restaurant is large enough to seat parties and still have room to seat other people. I didn’t feel crowded. They have a bar with several televisions. They had sports and a few other things showing on the TV’s. Joan gets 100 stars from me! Thank you. We will be back.

Nice restuarant in Downtown Orange. We Ordered the Salad special they had. It was a watermelon and Feta salad. It actually lacked flavor. Which I was surprised. But everything else was excellent. We also orderd Saganaki as an appetizer then I had the chicken souvlaki and my wife the Lamb ribs. Souvlaki and Lamb were tender and juicy. It was quite a bit of food. Outside of the salad everything else was great!

We stopped by for a quick happy hour visit. We sat at the bar and had a nice chat with the bar tenders. They have a nice HH menu, worth checking out! We especially loved the Smoke and Ash drink $10. We also had the filet mignon skewers $10, 4 meaty skewers. It’s a great way to enjoy HH food without all the carbs!

This past weekend, we had Citrus City Grill cater an event for 100 people for a very important fundraiser. They did a magnificent job! The set up and presentation was elegant and the food was phenomenal! Deanna, the catering manager was professional, responsive, helpful and very nice. Our guests could not stop commenting on how delicious the food was! If you are looking to cater an event, do yourself a favor and call Citrus City Grille!
