Biblical Christian Church Best balance I’ve seen with solid truth, taught and practiced with love by gracious members. Teaching is meaty and applicable. Highly rated preschool during the week. I’ve been attending for about 2 years now and my family and I love it. Great for all ages. People who are just looking to check the box on Sunday’s every once and a while may even find that being part of an authentic Church family is quite a bit more rewarding than attending a event from time to time. Please do keep in mind, no church is perfect; if you happen to find one it won’t be anymore after you (or I) join 😊
Caution, for those who understand the warnings of God's Word regarding NOT incorporating other religious practices into a Christ-based church please be aware that this church has vetted the practice of yoga into their women's retreats. After bringing up my concerns, I was informed that the elders and pastors have approved of teaching yoga yet they will change the name from "yoga class" to "stretch class" because others have brought up the same concern. Changing the title does not change the truth of the eastern religious origin of yoga (so-called modern yoga still has its origin in eastern mysticism and Hindu "deities"). Isn't it wise to not risk incorporating controversial teachings into a supposedly Bible-based church? God's Word warns against even the appearance of associating with practices that honor other spiritual beliefs. Romans 12:1-2, "Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as a living, sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God - this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is - His good, pleasing and perfect will."
We’ve been attending CCCLH since July 2024. We love it! The sermons are solid Bible teaching including relevant historical and philosophical perspectives. The building facility is clean and functional with tons of space for all activities, the adult Sunday classes are top notch, our children enjoy their classes and the worship music is so good you worry they’ll leave and sign a record deal! Tons of opportunities to serve and ways to minister (or be ministered to). They also occasionally offer classes for topics such as Biblical Counseling and Parenting.
Defiantly recommend this amazing community to all of my believer friends. It is a blessing to be a member of this church. I joined the community almost a year ago, and everyone has been super loving and welcoming. It has an awesome positive energy that makes you want t come back again. I am so great full and thankful that I have the opportunity to hear the true word. Also, I would love to invite everyone to check out our website. Such a beautiful picture of a healthy church. The preaching is biblically and theologically solid, and is entertaining and life-giving. The people are kind and welcoming, always willing to engage with you– even if you’re a new face. The music is a harmonious blend of both contemporary music and hymns. There’s a wide range of ages from the elderly to young adults. There are many church events and ministries to serve in and outreach is a growing heart in the church.
