Beyond their size, small businesses are defined by their spirit. And at the helm are their intrepid founders—scrappy, ambitious, and resilient. They invent and build things despite uncertainty, because it’s what drives them. Their risks lead to innovation that moves the world forward. And we need them.
On a Sunday evening, we visited Capones for dinner. It was quite busy around 5:30 - 6:00 pm, but we were seated fast and efficiently. Our server was very amicable, attentive, and patient with us (party of four). Capones food is excellent and very tasty. For appetizers, we had the Olive Marinato and the Bruschetta Capone's. I had the Fragioli soup which was terrific and the Vitello Picatta which was excellent. My significant other had their lasagna. The appetizers and the whole dinner were excellent. Wine with dinner was an absolute necessity! Great white wine. And for dessert, we had the Pear Tart with a scoop of vanilla gelato. Food was terrific. I would highly recommend this restaurant for excellent Italian food.
I came here for my birthday luncheon with two girlfriends. We have sampled everything from salad >> calamari >> shrimp soup (very good dipping with bread >> seafood pasta >> and drinks (Italian margarita). The drinks took forever to come out but when it did, we were all happy! 😊 Server is very friendly and knowledgeable. He even brought out a comp dessert dish for my birthday. Would definitely come back here again to try other dishes.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Capone’s Italian Cucina is absolutely fantastic! The atmosphere is cozy and elegant, and the staff are friendly and attentive. Every dish we tried was delicious — the seafood pasta was full of fresh flavors with a rich, savory sauce, and the grilled fish was perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside and tender inside, paired beautifully with the herb sauce. The Margherita pizza was fresh and aromatic, with a soft yet crisp crust and vibrant basil leaves. Even the bread and cocktails were outstanding! From start to finish, everything was perfect — great food, warm service, and a lovely ambiance. Highly recommend this restaurant for anyone who loves authentic Italian cuisine! 🇮🇹🍝🍷
Where do I begin? Yes one goes to a restaurant for food but I can cook some mean Italian myself!! At Capone’s it was not just the food that blew my socks off but the ambience, the service, the personal attention…everything. We had a friend visiting from out of town staying at a hotel in Huntington Beach so we decided to do the drive and take her here. The reviews were good so it was an easy decision but the reviews do not do any justice to this place. I’d give it 20 stars!! Taylor is a rock star! Whilst service standards are dwindling all over the country, people like her make it enjoyable to dine out. I can write more about Taylor but you go check it out for yourself. Ask for her as your server. I’m sure other servers are just as awesome and that is a big compliment to the owners who, I’m sure spend a lot of time training these wonderful people. Now compliments to the chef for a meal for royalty. The presentation, the taste, the portion everything excellent. The calamari and bruschetta were excellent starters. We had a 16oz bone in ribeye. Done perfectly MR as requested. Served with truffle fries- my guilty pleasure!! The pasta à la vodka is the best I’ve ever tasted. Even better than mine 😂 The grilled veggies made an excellent accompaniment. I wanted to have everything on the dessert tray but my wife stopped me the tiramisu and crème brûlée- both home made were plate licking good. Great drinks from the bar and a good selection of wine rounded off the evening and we took some leftovers home and they made for a good steak and eggs for breakfast the next morning. Congratulations to the owners. I can see your passion come through in every bite and every interaction. Ciao!
I'm a frequent diner. Excellent food, excellent service! 😋👍🏼 "Nicole C." was an excellent server. All our cravings and needs were exceeded! A favorite OC spot. Very reasonable for pricing for the value. Very Highly Recommended.
