If you’re craving the classic chicken and waffles, or like me, a lover of spicy fried chicken and brioche buns look no further! I ordered the Habero hot honey sandwich and I was not disappointed. Proportions were satisfying. If you’re a veteran to habanero levels of spice it may be less spicy than you desire. But if you’re thinking about taking the leap into super spicy, this is a great entry point for you. Juicy, spicy, sweet, fast service, and a great playlist to go along with your food!
Tried Bruxie for the first time and went with the krckin “Nashville “ Hot and honestly, so good. The fried chicken was crispy and juicy, and the sauce added the perfect amount of flavor without being too heavy. Good spot for brunch! The waffle was crispy and light, and chicken was well fried. Would recommend the spicier flavors (like hot honey) for an extra kick. I liked that the meal didn't feel overly heavy. Everything was actually pretty light and easy to eat. Plenty of seating both indoor & outdoor. It's a great casual spot to eat in downtown Brea.
