Pretty great Italian food in Brea! Went here for Father’s Day and it was pretty good! I really liked their bread that came hot and fresh and also their calamari was great too.

We had a reservation for 6:00 PM and arrived around 5:45 PM. The restaurant was not busy when we got there, but after checking in, we were left waiting without much communication. The employees at the front, Lilly and Kathya, appeared to be chatting with each other while we stood there waiting. A simple acknowledgment or update, such as letting us know our table would be ready shortly, would have made a big difference.
What was especially frustrating was seeing walk-in guests being seated before us despite having a reservation. It made us wonder what the purpose of making a reservation was in the first place.
On a positive note, our server Rachel was very friendly, attentive, and pleasant throughout our visit. Unfortunately, the food was just average, and the overall service experience outside of Rachel did not meet our expectations. Because of the combination of the wait, lack of communication, and mediocre food, I do not plan on returning.

Very much enjoyed their Wednesday 25% off pasta dinner. Ordered, shared and loved 4 of the appetizers as well: fresh mozzarella burrata and salad, arancini balls, fritto misto and mussels & clams. Also a huge shout out to the warm & yummy freshly baked comp bread that we shamelessly layered with carb upon precious carb! That and my lemon drop martini set the stage for a fantastic meal anchored by the Bruno pappardelle with tender short rib and al dente pasta! Yum in every bite. My husband also loved his shrimp and crab fettucine - huge serving and generous with seafood. I’ll order that next time! Also plotting our return to try the Monday night lasagna special - something to look forward to! Thank you to Alberto- our efficient and friendly server for a lovely mid-week dinner. Reserve on Opentable.

Bruno's Italian Kitchen is a great find in Downtown Brea. We had a dinner reservation for 12 people and were seated right away. The ambiance is lovely and the service was very efficient—food arrived quickly and the presentation was beautiful.
The Cioppino was delicious and a personal highlight! I also found the plates to be very fairly priced for the portion sizes. They have a good wine selection that complemented the meal perfectly. Great spot for large groups or a nice night out.
