I’ve been coming to Brodard since the OG location and I’ve never lived in OC. This day, I drove almost an hour to have my fave Grilled Shrimp Spring Rolls. What’s so unique is the crunchy lumpia wrapper that they put in there and the dipping sauce! The best I’ve ever had and can’t find anything close, anywhere! I also had the Luna Rice Cake with shrimp. Comes with lots of fresh herbs! The rice cakes themselves were a bit bland, but was tasty when you dipped it in the fish sauce. Of course, I had to get some spring rolls togo! Highly recommend for traditional Vietnamese food. They are always busy, so prepare to wait. Well worth it! They also have a bar area. The Lychee Sakatini was yummy.

The quality of the food has been quite consistent throughout the years. Get the spring rolls!!! They're iconic and always taste super fresh. Their garlic noodles aren't super flavorful, but I love their rice dishes and soups--the meat is always tender and everything is seasoned nicely.

Lunch at Brodard Restaurant today and honestly… now I understand why this place is so loved in Orange County. From the moment the dishes arrived, everything looked fresh, colorful, and full of flavor. The famous nem nướng spring rolls absolutely lived up to the hype — crispy, smoky, packed with herbs, and paired with that signature sauce that keeps you wanting more. Every plate felt thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. What I really enjoyed was how vibrant and authentic the whole experience felt. Great atmosphere, fast service, and the kind of food you keep thinking about long after lunch is over. If you’re in Fountain Valley or exploring Little Saigon, this Vietnamese restaurant is definitely worth a visit. Already planning my next trip back for more spring rolls.🥢 📍 Fountain Valley, California Brodard is especially known for its grilled pork spring rolls and has become one of the iconic Vietnamese dining spots in Orange County.

If you're vegetarian, take your money elsewhere. This place is a total rip. Their vegetarian dishes taste very average and they charge, like $18+ per dish. I don't mind the cost for the dish, but it needs to taste worthy of the money, and it definitely doesn't. I ordered a vegetarian crispy fried noodle, and because it was vegetarian, they charged me extra $2 (what?). So the dish was $21. And it was just noodles and 5 sad vegetables (see pic). I also ordered the veggie clay pot, which was a VERY small portion, and $19. The math doesn't make sense. Maybe their meat stuff is good but overall this restaurant doesn't live up to the hype. So many viet restaurants have a full vegetarian section to choose from, and taste delicious - Brodard isn't one of them.

Dropped by over the weekend as we were in the area. This was out second time here. The place wasnt very busy so we were seated fast. We ordered 2 rolls and one duck salad. The flavors s of the rolls were blan to very mild. It tasted mostly of deep fried oil due to the fried wonton like skin in the center. The duck salad was okay, but once you put the sauce on you can't taste anything but the sauce. 3 star overall, but 2 stars for the food.
