While at Laguna beach we decided to get the spicy roast beef sandwich from the grill to go along with an ipa to go. This location is bang opposite Laguna beach so we decided to have it at the beach. The sandwich was delicious and the view spectacular. Do give them a try you won’t be disappointed.
Great location with beach view. This used to be a Mexican food restaurant that went out of business. I was sad to see it go. But I'm glad they opened a Board & Brew in it's place. They serve yummy sandwiches freshly made to order. There's plenty in indoor seating as well as bar seating. Three are a few TVs to watch the game. They serve draft beer. Unfortunately, they don't have a private parking lot. Therefore, it's a bit of a challenge finding street parking. Also, they offer bags of chips. I wish they would offer French fries. Fries would pair better with their sandwiches IMO. The staff is friendly and service is quick. One of our order was missing cheese. The staff immediately apologies, offered cheese and went an extra step by offering extra sauce :) The ambiance is nice but can be a bit loud if there's a game playing on TV and the restaurant is full.
Love the Turkado. It’s my go-to after trying a lot of their menu at other locations, for sure. This with their secret sauce, just perfection! A really nice sandwich… however I do remember the bread having a more sourdough flavor, and also more avocado too. As it goes… Regardless, a great stop for a sandwich to take to the beach, or wherever you may go.
The sandwiches are good. Great to take to the beach. The reason I’m giving them 5 stars is because of Alex. They are so lucky to have an employee like him. I watched him take the order before mine with so much patience and care; he was super helpful with mine, cleaning and serving beer, and making sure everyone and everything was taken care of. I shared with him that the sandwich was okay, not bad, but not spectacular, but that his service made the experience for all a delightful lunch.
Fair priced food and amazing staff. Show up for brews, games and welcoming atmosphere. Joey and team are professional yet casual and all are welcome. Best price draft and grab-n-go is a must for the beach across the street.
