Great location with beach view. This used to be a Mexican food restaurant that went out of business. I was sad to see it go. But I'm glad they opened a Board & Brew in it's place. They serve yummy sandwiches freshly made to order. There's plenty in indoor seating as well as bar seating. Three are a few TVs to watch the game. They serve draft beer. Unfortunately, they don't have a private parking lot. Therefore, it's a bit of a challenge finding street parking. Also, they offer bags of chips. I wish they would offer French fries. Fries would pair better with their sandwiches IMO. The staff is friendly and service is quick. One of our order was missing cheese. The staff immediately apologies, offered cheese and went an extra step by offering extra sauce :) The ambiance is nice but can be a bit loud if there's a game playing on TV and the restaurant is full.
Love the Turkado. It’s my go-to after trying a lot of their menu at other locations, for sure. This with their secret sauce, just perfection! A really nice sandwich… however I do remember the bread having a more sourdough flavor, and also more avocado too. As it goes… Regardless, a great stop for a sandwich to take to the beach, or wherever you may go.
Wow – what a gem! Today we visited Board & Brew, and I have to say – this place is an incredible addition to our town! The build-out is absolutely perfect for the area, creating a welcoming and stylish vibe that feels just right. The service was outstanding – Joey brought our food out and took the time to chat with us. We later found out he’s one of the owners, and honestly, you could tell without even asking. The passion and love he has for this place are clear in every detail. The food was fantastic, the atmosphere was great, and the overall experience left us excited to come back. We’ll definitely be returning soon – highly recommend checking it out!
The sandwiches are good. Great to take to the beach. The reason I’m giving them 5 stars is because of Alex. They are so lucky to have an employee like him. I watched him take the order before mine with so much patience and care; he was super helpful with mine, cleaning and serving beer, and making sure everyone and everything was taken care of. I shared with him that the sandwich was okay, not bad, but not spectacular, but that his service made the experience for all a delightful lunch.
Incredible experience - from Chicago, have solid sandwiches there. Went to Laguna Beach with the family and got the turkado, kids had their grilled cheese reasonably priced in a solid location and filled me up. Would recommend if any one of as going to the Laguna Beach area. You can sample beers and they are tasty/solid. A seltzer option for the ladies as well.
