Not recommended! I ordered the honey butter loaded fries and waited half an hour for it and I thought it was because they were making it fresh but it was room temperature... not hot, lacked flavor and the chicken was dry. To make matters worse, the dish was missing bacon so I went back to ask about it. The worker reached into my food and dug his finger around to look for it. When he didn’t find any, he grabbed a handful of cold bacon and dropped it on top. I was shocked, it was unhygienic, and completely ruined my appetite. Oh and there's more..... the tray was half sweet potato fries (hidden under the fries), which I did not order and it was not part of the description. When I asked about this, I was told the kitchen was running low on regular fries and substituted sweet potatoes WITHOUT notifying me. I would have appreciated being told beforehand so I could make a different choice especially since not everyone can or likes to eat sweet potatoe fries. The worker shrugged it off, which felt dismissive of what I ordered and paid for. They need training on basic communication and proper food handling standards. Overall, this was a very disappointing and unpleasant experience.
Inside of steelcraft in garden grove… I mean it’s a beautiful place. Lots of parking and eating space. The food here was so amazing! The price for the portions were very reasonable in my opinion. We got the honey butter with tater tots; and the Nashville with sweet potato fries!! And 3 lemon pepper tenders. Everything was amazing. The honey mustard sauce was delicious.
Took my friend to steelcraft for lunch today. It’s been 3 years since I’ve been here and most of the vendors are new since my last visit. We decided to order a few things to mix and match and share. We ordered 2 sliders with a side. Wow! Those are regular size sandwiches so I’m glad we shared. We got the normal heat and it was perfect. Nice juicy chicken with the perfect amount of heat. Our side was fried pickles with ranch dressing. Yummy ranch! Homemade and different from the normal. This was a great choice of food!
Man, oh man, this place was beyond bad. We literally waited 30 minutes for the driest most burnt chicken that I’ve ever had. And the coleslaw had no flavor at all. They gave me one sauce for four pieces of chicken and they gave me one maple syrup for four pieces of waffle, which is absolutely absurd. I had high expectations for this place and I love a cool concept, but this was a bust in so many ways. I would just recommend anyone to go to one of the other establishments within 10 feet walking distance.
GET THE TOTS!!!!!! They were super crispy and had nice flavor with the Bird Sauce! The slider was fairly large and had a nice big juicy portion of chicken. We came for a snack and ended up full for most of the day from sharing a meal. The buns of the slider had a nice sweet flavor to them and a semi-firm hold. Would try this again to enjoy a different sandwich.
