Who knew? Had never heard of this place. Went to go hear some live music by invitation and was pleasantly surprised. Nice little spot, They don’t offer food but you can purchase a small charcuterie board (pictured) and some munchie stuff like chips. Their website doesn’t say your welcome to bring your own food (but you can) They offer plenty of reds but have only one white which wasn’t bad. Enjoyed the atmosphere, and the service. We will visit again. Gave 4 stars due to limited white wine selection but you won’t be disappointed.
Sunday I popped in, yes they were about to close. We asked if we could come in and have a glass of wine. I was visiting from Colorado and had heard so much about this place from my mom. However, the owner seemed to be quite annoyed that we came in so late and made it be known that we only had a few minutes. We had a lovely glass of wine, and our server treated us kindly. We bought a bottle of wine for Thanksgiving and as we left we were told by the owner once again to come earlier. Yes, I get that we were just around closing time. But, the cold shoulder and the rudeness didn’t need to happen. Hurry up and get out was the attitude. My mom wanted to be a member again maybe not on Sunday. But, if you didn’t want someone to come in why not shut the door. It’s unprofessional and inconsiderate, which left us with a bad taste. Although we spent over 90.00 in 15 minutes. It’s unfortunate that they lost a possible member and gave us such a bad taste in only 15 minute, no I’m sorry he told us 12 minutes.
I had sampled three different Syrah and It was absolutely fabulous. Mr. Bellante is personable, and his recommendations were spot on. I would gladly have him be my sommelier any day.
Great place to taste some wonderful wines. We joined their club. We love being able to make use of club member perks and discounts at a place so close to home. Wine Enthusiast just scored their reds from 90 to 94! The winemaker loves to chat, giving the place a very comfortable and non formal vibe.
