The atmosphere is so inviting and comfortable. You feel the lightness in the air when you come in, it’s like you have ways been here. Now the food! The pizza is the best in the OC. The sourdough is baked fresh daily. The appetizer selection is great. You need to stop reading this and come in. Beachwood Pizza and Beer is a weekly must for me.
A sports bar with great food and a full bar plus draft beers. That’s all we need! I had: 1. Whipped ricotta - wood-fired caramelized pineapple, lemon, hot ginger honey, pistachios 2. Earth to table - seasonal pizza - bacon, mushrooms, mozzarella 3. King goomba - seasonal pizza - roasted chicken, mushrooms, tomato 4. Pairs well with pizza - Italian-style Pilsner 5. Berry chantilly tiramisu - mixed berry compote, vanilla bean marscapone, raspberry cabernet soaked lady fingers
We came in tonight after the other places we looked at were surprisingly busy and I am so thankful we did. We had Katarina as our server (per receipt). My wife and I had date night tonight and Beechwood took it over the top. We had house bread and wings as our appetizer with the Maverick as the main course. It was amazing from beginning to end. The staff was super friendly and made our visit that much better! The bread was amazing and the wings were far above par. Selection of beers was great and paired perfectly with our meal. I cannot say enough good about our experience and when you're considering how to spend your special meal money and this is the place. This is the pizza I didn't know I needed but was beyond good and worth every penny. Great taste, smoky meats, crispy crust with texture and flavor off the charts. If you want amazing pizza and the experience to match the price of eating out. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for the best pizza possible, you won't be disappointed. I cannot say enough good too accurately convey how good our experience was. 12 out of 10.
Beachwood Pizza & Beer is incredible! Outstanding craft beer, fresh sourdough-crust pizza, and an awesome atmosphere. The staff and management make it an all-around great experience every time. Try the Jessica Rabbit Pizza and an ice cold Merose beer 🍕🍺
We've been here a few times and every time we have had a very pleasant experience!!!!! Luis our waiter was phenomenal! He not only knew the flavor profile of the pizza but the different IPA's I was asking about. As we brought a family member there for the first time I jokingly told him that he had to take care of him. Luis didn't hesitate and comped an appetizer! Who does that. Great place, great food and great beer! 👍👍👍👍👍
