Ballast Point is a great place to stop by for a bite or drink. The buffalo wings are very flavorful and definitely recommend them. We also orders a kids cheeseburger, which came with fries, a drink, and a cookie for only $15 which is such a great deal and a good portion for an adult also. The pepperoni flatbread was decent, not much flavor but good. **Also, if you ask them to validate your parking they will. It won’t be free but definitely cheaper than normal. **
12/14/2024 The buffalo wings were perfectly crisp and had really good buffalo flavor. My salad was really good, grilled chicken added, and the amber lager reminded me of Newcastle, which I really like and can't find anywhere. The server made good suggestions and was nice. The restaurant was clean. All good.
Great place for a sit down meal away from the business of downtown Disney. There is sometimes a short wait to get a table. They have you order on their website from your table and if you want more water you must get up to get it from the bar. Servers will bring to you drinks and food you order on the website. The vibe and atmosphere of the place is perfect for groups of people. I ordered the smash burger, lemon pepper wings, pretzels, and an Arnold Palmer. The burger, wings, and pretzel were all greasy as you would expect for bar food, but it all tasted great. I do warn that the wings had a high presence of salt- I wouldn't recommend to anybody sensitive to sodium. Burger came with a nice little salad. Not a bad spot if you find yourself searching for lunch or dinner while visiting or just want a drink.
The place is a weak offering for the Downtown Disney area. There are so many other offerings in the area that are a better option. The one redeeming benefit of this place is that it was a sit down restaurant that was able to seat us immediately without a reservation. My girls liked the pizza, but only thought it was okay. I tried it as well and thought it was on the lower end of pizza I’ve eaten in my life. The carne asada flat bread was slightly better than the pepperoni flatbread. The Aguachile here was slightly better than the nearby Céntrico, but it was a low bar to try to surpass. The birria questaco was lacking in flavor.
Stopped by after spending most of our day at Disneyland 🍻. The service was great the servers were checking on us constantly and made us feel welcomed. We sat at the bar for a quick service.
