This is a hidden gems, one I want to gate keep but it soo good I won't! My hubby and I will drive to get their Peime rib which is only served on weekends! Its worth every penny. No other steak house in SD has compared to this delicious heavenly steak! I dream about it haha!

We drive down to Rancho Mission Viejo 5 - 6 times a year and my girlfriend knows this place is always on my meal plan. The food is great, prices reasonable in today's ever increasing world of expenses. Service is super nice and sometimes a little under staffed, again this seems par for the restaurant industry at this level. We had two items plate. Everything was Delicious. The bar is small but has tvs for sports so it's great spot to pull up, have a beer, a shot of whisky, some wine and a meal. Cheers 🍻

Fun, lively bbq, and friendly staff. Beans are tasty but I'd skip the potato salad, maybe too much mustard for my taste but 25 beers on tap and a full bar, everyone is going to be pleased. Casual dining and overall, a good deal. I'd stop in again.

While visiting Cali being a bbq guy from the South I had to find some Q. He suggested this spot and I wasn't disappointed. Smelled like they knew what they were doing. And yeah I came in stereotyping especially since I'm in one of the "high end" parts of California. I wanted to try it all for meat combo. Ribs chicken brisket and tri tip. They checked all the boxes taste texture and feel of what bbq should be like. Brisket tender and had flavor. Chicken wasn't dry. Tri tip moist and the ribs smoked perfectly. The sauce wasn't needed but when I tasted it I continued to dip my meat in it. To go further I bought a bottle. They even let me see the smokers and watch them load up the butts. When I saw how they seasoned those butts I went and bought a bottle of that too. The sides of Mac n cheese and greens were on point. Greens spice profile was a little hot but manageable. The bar manager was great and the little lady who comes in and likes to dance was a gem. Can't remember her name but won't forget that face and personality. Before flying back to Georgia I almost went back to take some home but had other food obligations. But when I come back this summer I'll be coming here for some Q. A definiteb go to.

If you are looking for a tasty BBQ spot, Bad To The Bone Is it. I typically order the tri-tip plate every time I visit because it is so good and the meat is tender. Today we added the Tallow fries with bacon and cheese. It did not disappoint. Probably the tastiest dish I have ever had for a topped/loaded fry dish. But overall, everything on the menu is good. Another great addition to mention, they have dog friendly patio seating .
