I was referred to B.P. Custom Roofing by South County Roofing who had previously performed repairs on our roof (they only do repairs, not new roofs).
Bill was informative, polite, honest, and updated us on every aspect of the job from the time he provided the quote until everything was complete. Most contractors are so busy that you're always chasing them down for updates or information on your job--not Bill. He would call or text me as any part of our job progressed--from scheduling, to rain delays, material ordering, and end of day updates on the job every afternoon they were working. We had other contractors on the job when they were here as well, and he made sure to keep me informed of where he was working and what he needed so that we could keep everyone happy and out of each other's way.
You really won't appreciate how on top of things Bill is for your roofing job unless you've experienced the opposite with a contractor that is spread too thin or communicates poorly. Additionally, he was my cheapest quote of all the roofing companies that I spoke with--which speaks to his fairness with his quotes.
There are no surprises with Bill. Everything he does is by the book--no shortcuts. He will completely educate you on your current roof, the new materials he uses, how he is going to do the entire job and give you the best roof you've ever had. His crew is polite and professional--the whole team truly looks like they love what they do, and it shows in the work that they put out.
With this many five star reviews across Google and Yelp, it almost seems fake, but the work speaks for itself. I will definitely refer everyone I know to BP Custom Roofing.

We were referred to B.P. Custom Roofing by our friends who said "We love our roofer!". After our experience with Bill and his team, we understand the sentiment and feel the same.
Bill was very thorough with the quote process. He took the time to carefully inspect all areas of our roof and sat down with us to explain the process and his recommendations for our project. The proposal itself was extremely detailed and we appreciated his quick responses to our questions.
When the project began, his team showed up on time and were friendly, respectful and professional. They had a nice shade tent set up on the front lawn to keep the guys comfortable during breaks. They did a great job cleaning up at the end of each day and made sure nothing was left out that could injure our dogs.
Jesus did a great job on the (expected and discussed) woodwork repairs and even fixed a disconnected fan pipe in our attic, free of charge. It's obvious the whole team takes great pride in their work. Bill stopped by each day to check in and take progress videos, which were fun to see.
They ended up finishing a day early and our new roof is beautiful! We can't say enough great things about B.P. Custom Roofing and will highly recommend them to our friends, family and neighbors.

We recently had to scramble to get our roof replaced so we wouldn't get dropped by insurance, and got a very strong recommendation for BP from a previous customer. When Bill came out to do an estimate I immediately understood why. He stood out from the other roofers we consulted in how much time he spent with me to discuss the project and how detailed his assessment and advice was. That level of care and attention to detail wasn't just as sales tactic - it was kept up through the whole reroofing and we couldn't be more happy with the both the results and the experience. The new roof looks fantastic and the work was done quickly and smoothly.

Our 1950's home in Tustin needed a new roof. As responsible home owners, we went out and got 3-4 quotes. Many roofers came to our house, but Bill was the only one who answered all our questions. He inspected the roof when he first visited us and shared his thoughts with us - he seemed very honest right from the beginning. We had many concerns and questions, and he was always there, even on weekends, patiently answering all our questions and concerns. He was very clear about what the job entailed from start to finish, and explained to us that projects this big, like a new roof, can have unexpected costs. He explained that typically roofing projects, in most cases, need to have wood replaced. I liked that there was no hidden costs with Bill - his job estimate was very detailed and had pricing for each item, including the price of wood if necessary. His honesty was what stood out to me when we would speak with him. His foreman Jesus along with his crew did an amazing job, and knocked the new roof installation out of the ballpark. My mother in law had a few fix requests on the outside of the home, and Jesus fix them even if they had very little to do with the roof job itself. The crew also cleaned up the area around the house when finished for the day. Once the roof was finished, Jesus returned a few weeks later to re-inspect the roof to make sure it was still solid, which it was. This was due to us painting the outside of the house and fumigating right after the new roof was installed. Bill insisted on coming back to make sure no one would mess up his new roof install! We really appreciated that touch. Their attention to detail and care of their work was simply next level. Thank you Bill for our great new roof, and let your crew know we appreciate them too on a job very well done.
