I had breakfast at AVEO Table + Bar at Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach on the morning of my birthday, and it turned into such a lovely and memorable experience.
When the team found out it was my birthday, they surprised me with a beautiful chocolate mousse cake with a candle. It was such a thoughtful gesture and truly made my morning special. The service was warm, attentive, and incredibly sweet.
The setting was beautiful, the breakfast was wonderful, and the kindness of the staff made the experience even more meaningful. I really appreciated the attention to detail and the genuine hospitality. Thank you for making my birthday morning feel so special.

We had our Breakfast at the Aveo during our recent visit to Waldorf Astoria at Monarch Beach. My wife got the breakfast buffet while I ordered the Chicken Burrito.
Breakfast buffet was good with lot of selections but my Chicken Burrito stole the show. It was so good, that she wished she also ordered the burrito instead of the breakfast.
The ambience is great with good views of the resort and far away ocean. Service here is always great.
Overall , a very good breakfast experience here !

Update from the previous review (see below): I went there just a few days ago on 4/21, and was so disappointed with the burrito this time; it was different and really not good. Why did they change the best thing I loved about this place?? And was it a new recipe, or a new chef? The meat was literally black this time, not as in the pic below, cooked with a different spice mix, and really not good. Like please tell me it was a one time flop, I would love to come back

Smashburger was decent. The brioche bun was greasy. Too much butter or some other type of oil. Trufflle frys were amazing. Decent portion size.
The service was top notch. Everyone I encountered was on the ball. Our waiter Alvin and his support staff were amazing.
Hot tip. Schedule your your dining experience such that you can watch the sunset. Amazing view.

We chose this venue to celebrate our civil wedding luncheon, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The view was breathtaking, the service impeccable, and the ambiance truly unforgettable. A special shoutout to Antonia, the events coordinator, who went above and beyond to make everything seamless. I must have sent her at least 20 emails, and she responded to each one with incredible patience and care. Thanks to her, we were able to bring our vision to life and create a beautiful, memorable event.
