Beyond their size, small businesses are defined by their spirit. And at the helm are their intrepid founders—scrappy, ambitious, and resilient. They invent and build things despite uncertainty, because it’s what drives them. Their risks lead to innovation that moves the world forward. And we need them.
So me and my mom went to Athenian Burger for trying their burger combos that come with whatever Burger you choose whether it's hamburger cheeseburger bacon cheeseburger depending on which one you choose depends on the price, fries and a drink. And literally on their sign it says a regular size drink. So the lady proceeds to hand me the drinks and on the sign it says regular size drink. But she ends up handing me a small drink. So while I'm waiting for my food I ask her. Are you sure this is the regular size and she said yes that's what comes with the specials. I said I ordered the combo not just a special and it literally says regular size drink so she proceeds to show me the smallest cup and says that it's a 16 oz cup. Mind you, the burger is decent size and the fries are delicious and decent sized. But there's no way in hell that this cup is considered a 16 oz cup. So I'm adding a picture of the cup sitting next to a 12 oz can of soda you tell me hell that's a 16 oz cup... I mean the food is delicious and the price would be just fine if it was actually a 16 oz cup but they're ripping people off on the drinks ... Refills are not free and they're dipping. Sauces are not free. The only thing that is free to add on is ketchup packets
This place is just OK. They offer Coke products, which is great. They don't have diet coke, which is terrible. Didn't like having to ask for a key to use the restroom. The food took way too long to reach the table since they prioritized the walk-in to go orders over the customers that are eating in. And no free refills on soda.
If you work for your money, I highly suggest not eating here. Ordered pastrami chili cheese fries and it cost $20.46 (with cash) and I got what looks like a half plate of food. I work hard for my money and don’t like getting ripped off. I could have gone to McDonalds and got a 20 piece McNuggets and 2 Big Macs and French fries for $20 or gone to the Hat and actually got my moneys worth instead of wasting my money on a half plate of food
Ordered two breakfast burritos . First impression they looked good but a bit small compared to other breakfast burritos . The only bad thing is that you can only choose one extra side so we added sausage and it only came with bacon egg and potatoes . It's light but it was good . Comes with chips and salsa only if you want it they ask before they give you the order. All in all it was good and there salad is good too .
I am truly disgusted with the customer service I received, especially from the older lady—I'm not sure if she's the owner—but her behavior towards me was unacceptable. I felt judged because I was wearing my work clothes. Two Caucasian men in front of me received excellent service, but when it was my turn as a Hispanic man, I was treated like I was trash. When I sat down, the lady gave me constant judgmental stares. I tried to give the place a second chance since it was the only nearby option and I was hungry. Unfortunately, after my second visit, I have decided never to return. The cashier who took my order was actually nice. However, when I asked her for recommendations on what’s good there, the same older lady from my first visit came out, almost yelling, "Everything's good here!" The cashier's reaction indicated she was embarrassed and felt bad about how the lady responded to me. It’s disheartening because the older lady seems to also be Hispanic, and to see her treat her own people that way is very disappointing. I will not be going back.
