Been coming here for 25+ years and……… ouch!!!! Service was mixed, between ok and not good. The lack of leadership and training is very clear here. We asked for biscuits and gravy when we were seated but had to ask again and reclarify what we wanted, much later. The waffle came out rubbery not crispy, French toast the same. Asked for well done English muffin and right out of the kitchen it was barely toasted. O Brian potato’s were I am very sad to say no seasoning, and no crisp to them, just mushed on the plate. It is very easy to see that leadership is not making sure people are trained properly.

My actual server was great, though overwhelmed! There was a younger male who was rude and just completely disrespectful to an older male server and those around him - I already wanted to leave when I witnessed how he treated everyone. But if he's the manager, I don't think he was but he was bossing everyone around, I can understand why this place is currently the way it is. I'm sure this place WAS great and I love seeing a long standing business provide respite from the world outside even if just for a meal. However, the meal was simply horrible - left it there, didn't even take the leftovers and the servers are so overwhelmed - just stress no smiles (my server was great though). The chicken fried steak - unlike any time I've had it before...heavy ground beef patty, greasy (soaked through the breading), mushy breading, no seasoning, and tons of cold gravy thrown on top. Served with soggy hashbrowns, rubbery scrabbled eggs, and a side of biscuits that tasted like they were from a Pillsbury tube - couldn't eat those either. :/ It was a waste of money and food, and after such a long wait to be seated, and another long wait to order, and then another long wait for the food. There is a spacious parking lot, an ample menu, and an old cozy vibe (where you expect delicious home style dishes), but sadly nothing else. Hope it returns to what it once was!

My brother and I went here for breakfast and had a great experience. There was a short wait, and the building had an old Western-style exterior that gave it a unique charm. Inside, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a cozy, diner-style feel. Our waitress, Christina, was fantastic—super friendly, full of energy, and had the entire menu memorized. She even doubled our biscuit order, which was very kind and thoughtful. Shout out to Christina 🙏 For breakfast, we had sirloin scrambles packed with tender, flavorful steak pieces, fluffy eggs, sautéed onions, bell peppers, tomatoes, and crispy fried potatoes. The scramble was topped with a lot of shredded cheese, which melted perfectly over everything—so good. The homemade biscuits were fresh, warm, and buttery—true comfort food. We added a half order of stuffed waffles topped with sweet strawberries and cream, along with a half order of stuffed pancakes—both thin, golden, and filled with delicious goodness. To drink, we had rich chocolate milk and fresh orange juice. The service was fast, the portions were generous, the food was delicious, and the price was surprisingly reasonable. Definitely a spot worth visiting again.
