My biggest concern when recommending places is consistency and this place delivers. Everything is fresh made. The staff is courteous and generous. The kitchen and dining area is spotless. I love their crunchy shredded beef tacos and their nacho fries are huge! Even the mid size could feed 3-4 people. I rarely dish out all 5s! Highly recommend!
The food was a solid 7/10 the tacos taste like TJ tacos lol but It was good and clean. Good customer service.
Born and raised in San Diego and this brought back memories of my teenage and early 20's. The flavor of the carne asada, chips, guacamole, and hot sauce are what San Diego Mexican food was like in the early 2000's. Abelitos cooks quality Mexican food that brought the nostalgia back. This will be my go to Mexican whenever in the area.
I went here with my partner last week. Great price AND great taste. Cashier was super friendly and they hand you bottles of salsa if you dine in- definitely not skimpy with salsa! We got the California burrito, lengua burrito, and an horchata. All for around 30! Other places would've been around $40 with a drink! The portions are great too! Meats were super flavorful. I also love that they're open late. Definitely our new go to place for mexican food! :)
The tacos were amazing and and it was a good price. I really enjoyed the horchata and would get that every time I would go. The eggs with ham and rice and beans were also delicious, and I really enjoyed the rice and beans. Next time I go back to Anaheim, I will definitely return.
