Beyond their size, small businesses are defined by their spirit. And at the helm are their intrepid founders—scrappy, ambitious, and resilient. They invent and build things despite uncertainty, because it’s what drives them. Their risks lead to innovation that moves the world forward. And we need them.
Food was surprisingly good. The Gabagool flatbread was a good pick and the pretzel wasn’t overly salty like at many other establishments. There was a decent selection of beers, but unfortunately several of them were not available when we visited.
Nice atmosphere. The appetizers were the best part. Their version on a bloody mary was very watered down. It looked way better than it tasted. The service was ok.
Good overall, but nothing particularly unique so it stands about average to similar restaurants. Food prices in summer 2025 are fair and about average
Very beautiful spot! Gotta give that. However, we're giving low ratings. We ordered a spicy nashville chicken and 1886 burger with chips and a side of wings. First, we weren't offered napkins and coasters.( I got up and took them myself!) Second, the food took well over 30 minutes to arrive on a Sunday evening where there were about 50 guests. Starting with burger, as we ordered well done, it came rare! Spicy nashiville chicken was not spicy. As a matter of fact, wings were about 5 to 6 times more spicy than the Nashville spicy chicken. House chips were so stale that at some point, it felt chewing on rubbery gum! It was a disappointing experience, unfortunately. Note that they gave 50 % off on the burger and marked it as a kitchen error.
Sad to say this place was disappointing. Our fish and chips were overcooked to the point of becoming dry. The fries looked beyond crispy, and tasted as if they were refried. Not to mention they seemed to be the last crumbs of the batch and we found burned Brussels sprouts mixed in. Our server was very pleasant, too bad the food was a bust.
