Dr Ghiassi is amazing! I’ve never felt so secure with a dentist. He is passionate about his work, makes sure you are comfortable with and understand the entire process. He actually cares about his patients, and knows the dentist is never a favorite appointment for anyone. He and his staff make sure the entire process is positive if it’s a regular cleaning or an implant, crown, etc. To find a doctor that cares about patients and their feelings, does only the necessary work, doesn’t charge exorbitant fees, makes sure you aren’t in pain, and gives you his cell to call day or night, that’s extremely rare. I brought my mom up from San Diego for a consultation and she was so impressed she decided to go to him for an extensive mouth surgery. She is so happy that she chose Dr Ghiassi. We can’t say enough positive things about him. Thank you Dr Ghiassi for all your help and your passion for helping people.

After over 20yrs of coming to Ortega Dental I’m finally leaving a review! Dr. G and his team have been amazing. They’ve seen me since I was a kid battling anxiety and pain to becoming a neuromuscular massage therapist. No matter how much time went by Dr. G always made sure I was comfortable, calm, and informed about how each appointment would be. Thank you for your dedication to my health and wellbeing 🙂↕️🫶🏼

I have been to various dental offices all my life and nothing tops this one. I am treated like family and I have never worked with a dentist who makes me feel so comfortable and heard. Dr Ghiassi aleays responds to my texts and calls at any time of the day. He’s also incredibly preventative in his screenings and treatment which has quite literally saved my teeth. I couldn’t recommend a better dentist. His staff is also amazing, great customer service!’

Dr Ghiassi is thorough, precise, and knowledgeable. He detected a root cause of a problem that other doctors completely missed. The treatment plan was spot on. I also liked the friendly and accommodating the staff. They treated me and my family well. Thank you dr ghiassi and staff!

My mom was a patient at this office a few years ago, and for over a month, we have been trying to get copies of her dental records and a credit that is still owed to her so she can continue treatment with a new dentist.
The problem is that my mom no longer lives in the state and is physically unable to come into the office. She has personally requested her records, signed the office's HIPAA authorization form, and gave me permission as her daughter to help obtain them. Despite all of that, the office continues to refuse to provide any alternative way to release her records and keeps insisting she come in person, which simply is not possible.
Because of this, her dental treatment is now on hold because her current provider does not have access to information about the work that was done. We have called multiple times, followed their instructions, completed the paperwork they requested, and still have gotten nowhere.
I work in the dental field myself, and I can say that obtaining a patient's records should never be this difficult when the patient has made the request and signed the proper authorization forms. The same goes for receiving information about a credit for treatment that was never completed. At this point, we are simply trying to obtain records and money that belong to the patient.
This entire situation has been incredibly frustrating and has delayed my mom's care. we will be filing complaints with the dental board and having an attorney help us. I have all the time in the world.
Also note as someone who works in the dental field, I have encountered numerous patients who were previously treated at this office and expressed dissatisfaction with their experience. While I can only speak directly to my family's situation, our experience unfortunately aligned with many of the concerns I had heard over the years.
