I was searching for coffee shops to try while I am in San Clemente and was super excited to try this place. I opted for the flowers & cup combo which is supposed to come with a mini bouquet and a 16 ounce coffee for $14. I was surprised when the staff asked me if I wanted a 12 ounce as I’m trying to get the bang for my buck! I ordered an iced salted honey latte and they gave me hot. And had I known they were going to give me 3 roses I would have just gotten the coffee by itself. I'm also not sure what salted honey is supposed to taste like but it tasted like a regular latte. It's a cute little place but I just left disappointed that's all. But don't get me wrong, the staff were friendly. I think I was just more sad about the 3 roses. I was really hoping for a cute little mini variety bouquet considering that was what was advertised on social media.
Very cute place— love all the flowers! We tried the Italian summer and berry ricotta toast (adding some flaky salt though would be total perfection) . Both the food and service were great and would totally recommend/return.
Picnic Café delivered a nosh/grazing board for our baby shower and it was absolutely fantastic. My wife and I loved it, and our guests did too. The delivery team was friendly and professional, everything arrived on time, and the whole process was smooth and easy. The fruit was genuinely fresh, the cheese selection was excellent, and the crackers were great. Portions were generous—we had plenty left over—which made it a great value for the price. We’ll absolutely order again for future events.
Love this new place. The decor is so cute and inviting. The raspberry chocolate latte was amazing and addictive. The toast on the coast was also delicious. So happy to see such a great new business move in. Can’t wait to try more. The lady after me got a smoothie that looked so good, it made me want to come back and try it.
We hired the Picnic Cafe to create us a lavish grazing board for our baby shower and it was a total hit. It was really beautifully set up and all the cheese and bites were delicious and we ended up even having food leftover. Really recommend if you want to do something creative and impressive for your event!
