Large rooms, nice view, modern. Pillows however were horrible. I had a headache both days from how uncomfortable they were causing pain in my neck. Was surprised to have housekeeping service for just a two day stay. Was given some cinnamon cookies at check-in for a heritage celebration.
Bar had live music, received a free drink with loyalty status.
Parking and location were convenient and bath amenities were thoughtful and smelled great.
It would have been nice to have been notified the gym was closed. There were several touch points before check in when this info could have been made available. They offered a pass to a nearby gym but I didn’t feel like leaving the hotel and then hassling with giving the gym a bunch of personal info just to do a workout, knowing there would be sales calls in the weeks to follow.

I decided to take a quick trip to Laguna Beach, and this was the perfect place to stay. I loved that it wasn’t too far away, making it an easy getaway. The rooms were modern, clean, and comfortable, and the staff was incredibly kind. The check-in process was quick and seamless, and I was even able to check into my room early.
The hotel restaurant was a great convenience, so I didn’t have to do much commuting for meals. The only minor downside was that when I went later in the evening, they were out of a few drink options, but it wasn’t a big deal.
The pool area was peaceful and not overcrowded, which made it easy to relax and enjoy some quiet time. Overall, the pricing was very reasonable, and I had a wonderful stay. I would definitely come back for another weekend getaway.

Nice hotel--well appointed but not fancy. Modern, clean, comfortable. Front desk fast and efficient on both check in and check out and consistently warm and welcoming. Appreciated fridge and coffee maker in room. Room was spacious and nicely furnished. A chip in the veneer of the headboard should be attended to, but I notice things that other guests might not. Shower nice and hot with adequate pressure. Toiletries decent quality. Good value for the published rates. There is an $18 parking charge, which may be laughable in Laguna Hills (this ain't Anaheim), but overall total cost was still good value for the caliber of the property. Would I stay there again? Yeah, and probably will.

Check in was easy, and the hotel lobby very beautifully curated. Live music, breakfast and dinner can be had at the Raven. My room was clean, and everything felt fresh as a hotel room should. Bed comfy, and pretty decor that made it feel modern. Obsessed with the Canvas Apotheke toiletries offered! Very nice touch! However only downside is you can hear other doors close. My neighbors seemed to of been in and out between 130-3am and it did briefly wake me up. Wonder what can be done there. Regardless- Would definitely stay here again!

We checked in with an adult cat with all that entails. We were automatically asked if we needed any kind of help, which we did. All staff we encountered were friendly and helpful especially as we were checking in. The front desk folks were so informative and helpful. We had an issue when checking out with a extremely scared feline, two gentlemen came quickly to help us remove the cat from under the bed doing so in a very friendly and comfortable way. We know of others staying at VOCO who had similar experience.
