This was my first time at this restaurant and I really liked it. We got the chicken Souvlaki plate with a side of Nick’s fries which were absolutely incredible! I got the Chicken gyro pita and i gotta say, that it was probably one of the best pitas i have ever had. The sauce to meat to vegetable ratio was fantastic and I kinda wish I came here sooner. We went late at night around 9, and they catered to us very nicely. Overall this was a fantastic Greek place comparable to the others in the area. Will be coming back pretty soon!
Great atmosphere and plenty of seating inside and outside and it's clean. The staff were friendly. I ordered Chicken Souvlaki Pita, it was good I really liked the fluffy pita bread, chicken was delicious too and it wasn't overcooked but I wish it had less sauce and chicken could use a little more salt. I have tried the red/lamb gyro on another occasion and that was delicious too. They have you plenty of green salad that comes in the combo meal, fresh veggies all around but I wish the dressing is the original Greek salad dressing. Next time I'll try another item from their menu.
Nick the Greek is a popular spot for quick, fresh, and flavorful Mediterranean food! I visited the Laguna Niguel location, but they have multiple spots around OC with the same great quality and friendly service. There’s both indoor and outdoor seating, making it perfect whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or sitting down to enjoy your meal. I tried a variety of dishes including the falafel and veggie pitas, tahini crunch and prasini salads, Greek fries, and a Mediterranean bowl with falafel. Even without tzatziki and feta, every bite was full of flavor. Everything tasted so fresh and balanced, and you can tell they use quality ingredients. Whether you’re plant based or just love Mediterranean food, Nick the Greek is a great go to for a healthy and satisfying meal. 🇬🇷✨
"I stopped in for a meal and ordered the Greek salad with a side of chicken souvlaki for protein. The meal came with pita bread and a drink, making it a solid value. The food was excellent—the chicken was cooked perfectly, and the salad ingredients (green peppers, tomatoes, onions, Kalamata olives, and cucumbers) were noticeably fresh. I especially appreciated the Mediterranean vinaigrette; it was light and didn't overpower the vegetables. The atmosphere was pleasant, with Greek music playing in the background. Definitely save room for dessert—they have some interesting options, like the pistachio cream with Dubai chocolate on vanilla or chocolate ice cream. There is cozy seating inside and a good size outdoor patio area under cover with hanging lights for ambiance. All in all, a nice restaurant that I’d recommend."
Highly recommended! I’ll definitely be back for more of their Gyro. it was excellent. The Mediterranean bowl was also very good. The only downside was the Dubai Chocolate ice cream; it didn’t taste right and might have been a bad batch. Everything else, though, was great!
