Our stay at the Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and cared for. A special shoutout to Eric, who truly elevated our experience — he went out of his way to secure us a fantastic room just steps from the pool and took the time to help us navigate the beautiful property. His friendliness and attention to detail perfectly embodied the spirit of the Waldorf Astoria brand. Every interaction we had with the team, from the front desk to the restaurant staff and valet, reflected the same level of professionalism, warmth, and genuine hospitality. The entire resort is stunning, impeccably maintained, and creates an atmosphere that’s both luxurious and relaxing. Overall, it was an incredibly enjoyable stay, and we can’t wait to return to this amazing hotel.
EXCEPTIONAL!! One of the best Guest Relations Teams! Everyone went above and beyond - welcoming smiles, personable conversations, attention to details. Mario D. spoke with me personally to make the "particular inconvenience right" ~ exemplary leadership!! The grounds are very well kept. Our room overlooking the pool area was well appointed and stocked with espresso, beverage accessories and deep soaking tub with salts. Loved the privacy button instead of cheap DND door hangers. Refreshing smell throughout the property. Enjoyed eating (Salmon/Shrimp burger and Fish sandwich) on the private beach which was also well maintained and equipped with firepits. The complimentary shuttle to and from the beach is a nice touch with the well mannered young man driving. Thanks to you ALL!
We stayed at Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach with my child, and for us it felt like an unforgettable journey. It truly felt as if we had traveled somewhere abroad to an expensive European resort. Our room had a partial ocean view, but in the evening it also captured the beauty of the hotel itself. The lights, the architecture, the atmosphere — it was simply breathtaking. The beach, the pool, the overall vibe — everything felt peaceful, elegant, and thoughtfully designed. This is definitely one of those rare places where you feel inspired and deeply relaxed at the same time. It’s a place we will absolutely return to — not just once.
Stunning property, exceptional service and amenities. The beach club really puts the experience over the top. Our room was updated and very comfortable. Especially loved the sunken bathtub with bath salts to use. The housekeeping staff went above and beyond with extra touches and attention to detail. We wished we could have taken advantage of more activities (will next time!) but the complimentary tequila tasting was really fun. Would stay again in a heartbeat!
We just returned from vacation here and absolutely loved our stay! Our room was stunning, the views were beautiful, and the staff was exceptionally nice and so helpful! Our room was spotless, the room service and hospitality were top notch! This ranks #1 of all our vacation stays! I highly recommend it, and the restaurants are wonderful too (try the Monarch Beach Bay Club for lunch or dinner). We also loved the pools, so tranquil! Our kids loved it! Romantic and family friendly!
