Beyond their size, small businesses are defined by their spirit. And at the helm are their intrepid founders—scrappy, ambitious, and resilient. They invent and build things despite uncertainty, because it’s what drives them. Their risks lead to innovation that moves the world forward. And we need them.
This best Western is there for their customers whether they stay there or not. The first impressions of facilities is extremely clean and the staff is very friendly and willing to help anyway they can. We did not actually get to stay at the hotel. We had a last-minute emergency and had to cancel our booking. They could’ve easily taken our money because it was well past the check-in time, but they were very understanding and canceled our booking without any fees thank you so much for being there for your customers
I was able to get a good deal on a third party website for this hotel for my duration of staying over the weekend. Checking in Rebecca was great, comped my parking fee, I wouldn't expect this for everybody but I do YouTube reviews so in exchange for that she comped me. All the staff was super helpful and nice. They even gave me a hour later check out. The hotel is pet friendly there is a pet fee and there is a parking per night fee so do beware of these fees. The breakfast is free and just your basic breakfast waffles there are some hot food items I don't eat any of that stuff but I did grab a few little treats for my cheat day. The best part of the breakfast facility was their coffee machine their cappuccinos, and lattes were incredible. There are bell carts and an elevator for your convenience parking can get very tight around the top parking area by the main entrance so just swing around and go to the lower level and it's a lot more open down there. Down at that facility where you park there are four electric chargers for your charging there is no fee involved with this The only problem with these chargers though is people get the key from the front desk and they keep it the whole time they're staying at the hotel. Now that's great if you get the key and you hold on to it then you get your reserved parking spot and free charging but if you're waiting to charge and someone else has the key I guess you could kindly ask them to phone the guest and ask them that others are waiting for it, there's no really written rule so do be aware of that. Now with that said I finally was able to get my hands on a charger there are two official Tesla chargers and two charge point chargers so if you have a Tesla bring your adapter. I was charging and the charger actually broke or a fuse blew So I gave up. I get free supercharging for a year and decided just to do that instead on my way out of town. Rooms are clean, dated furniture but clean did have a nice big fridge. Television was nice and large. I was on PCH and didn't hear much road noise but I always sleep with the sound machine. With that said the location is super busy regarding the street out front so walking my dog I had a cross the street into the quiet area more down by doheny Beach entrance there's a great park across the street up on the hill by the Laguna cliffs hotel. There is a very small pool, no jacuzzi. Walking towards the pool I wouldn't get a room over that direction. Ask kindly to get a upper floor room looking towards the ocean. My room did not have a balcony just a window on the second floor but there are rooms on higher levels that have balconies there might only be one more level above level two but regardless.
I've stayed here multiple times and keep coming back. The rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. We stayed in a King suite with balcony, facing Pacific Coast Highway. I'm a light sleeper and noticed the cars from the street were a bit loud at night, but easy to solve with a white noise app or earplugs. Staff is so friendly, perfect location by the Dana Point Harbor, and they have a great hot breakfast with a waffle maker. We felt at home staying here and will be back!
Beautiful little beach town . Great price jacuzzi bathtubs super comfy beds netflix and streaming on Tvs. Wonderful experience and great customer service! Lori at the front desk was an absolute angel! We will definitely come here again as our go to weekend getaway spot !
We had a reservation for 6 nights. Maya at the front desk was extremely rude. While I was paying for our room, she asked if I could step aside to help the person behind me. Then she overcharged me. The receipt said one price and the credit card machine was almost 100.00 more. I brought it to her attention and was told that she would fix it. She didn't. I ask for a signed receipt of what I paid, Maya told me she won't give me a signed receipt. On Thanksgiving night we were sleeping and Jake called our room at 10:55 PM.Jake said he needed us to sign a paper. I went to the front desk the next day I went to the front desk to sign the same paper I had already signed. I spoke to the guy manager about Jake's rudely calling the night before. He said he would take care of it. That evening Jake deactivated our room keys. Saturday I received numerous harassing calls from Maya. At almost midnight we returned to our room. Maintenance knocked on our door and told us to call the front desk. Maya from the front desk told us to pack our things and vacate the room immediately. We had nowhere to go, had to pack all our things and leave as Maya laughed at us and said have a good night. We were harassed daily and overcharged for the room. We were even charged for nights we didn't stay there. We were quiet, clean and have never been treated soo badly by any hotel before.
