A True Gem in Fountain Valley! I recently had an incredible meal at Moonlight Pizza & Chicken, and it’s easy to see why they are ranked as a Top 3 Pizza Restaurant for 2025. Everything from the food to the atmosphere was outstanding. 🍽️ What I Loved: Authentic Variety & Quality: The food quality is exceptional. I tried a mix of their grilled chicken, seasoned rice, and fresh vegetables—everything was cooked to perfection and full of flavor. Lahmajun & Halal Meat: Their Lahmajun is a must-try! It's great to know they use high-quality Halal meats, making it a perfect spot for those seeking authentic and mindful dining options. Incredible Desserts: Don’t leave without trying their Baklava. They have a beautiful selection of fresh, honey-soaked pastries that are the perfect end to a meal. Award-Winning Hospitality: The wall of fame in the restaurant shows years of community support and recognition. You can feel that history in their hospitality; the staff is genuinely warm and welcoming. 💰 Great Value: Whether you're grabbing a dozen Lahmajun for the family or enjoying their varied buffet, the prices are very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes you get. This place has a wonderful "home-cooked" feel that you just can't find everywhere. I will definitely be a regular here!
Don't let the outdated interior and faded signs fool you. Any foodie worth their grain of salt knows the food is gonna be fire. This place did not disappoint. Only really wanted some of the beef stew and rice, but walked out with lentil soup, green beans, chickpea salad, hummus, pita and pita chips. Everything was flavorful and fresh, balanced and hearty, nothing too salty or sour. Oh and the price to taste to proportion ratios go way above their paygrade.
Moonlight Pizza and Chicken – Hidden Gem -Middle Eastern / Mediterranean buffet I came across Moonlight Pizza and Chicken while exploring near Westminster and it turned out to be an incredible find. They offer a Middle Eastern open buffet that’s truly unbeatable for the price — $14.99 for lunch and $15.99 for dinner. Honestly, for the variety and quality, it’s an amazing deal. The buffet spread is full of authentic flavors — the lamb stew was juicy and flavorful, the stew was rich and comforting, and the tabbouleh, hummus, and fresh salad options were top-notch. Everything tasted fresh, vibrant, and perfectly seasoned. What makes it even more special is that this is a family-owned restaurant with over 30 years of history. You can really feel the warmth and hospitality in the service — the staff are genuinely friendly and welcoming. They also offer catering services, which I can easily imagine being a hit for any event. The food has a wonderful blend of Turkish, Armenian, Arabic, and Persian influences, making the flavors both unique and familiar at the same time. It’s a place where you’ll want to go back again and again, not just for the food, but also for the atmosphere and kindness of the people running it. Very much mom and pop spot, fresh filling food. Great grilled chicken kebab, great crust on the pizza. Soups, hummus, and even the rice is great. Chef definitely knows what he is doing in the kitchen. Stop by and enjoy the buffet with a great price.
I’ve been going here since I was young with my family for so many different occasions and this place is SO GOOD. Everything is made fresh and the flavors mix so well with everything. This is a family owned store and they are the sweetest people ever. Truly the most welcoming place ever. And don’t get me started on the food it’s so good. Their moonlight special comes with an extra large pizza and a whole chicken and pita with garlic spread and it’s my favorite thing ever. Chicken is huge and so well seasoned. Honestly just come over here because you’ll eventually come back for more!
