Beyond their size, small businesses are defined by their spirit. And at the helm are their intrepid founders—scrappy, ambitious, and resilient. They invent and build things despite uncertainty, because it’s what drives them. Their risks lead to innovation that moves the world forward. And we need them.
Great sandwich! Ordered The Manhattan. It was huge. Ate half there and packed half to go. Two meals for the price of one.
Tiny place but excellent sandwiches! Owners are funny! 15 minutes from Disneyland. Pastrami, very tasty, cooked. Soft bread, you can specialize what you prefer, very accommodating. Ham sandwich shown. Basically a way a sandwich should be made, to your liking. Our go to sandwich place when we head out that way! The reviews do not lie. In a strip mall on a corner.
4.5. 1/2 star loss because they ran out of squaw bread, the reason I was there. Squaw bread is a popular choice. Decided on rye because I like to choose breads that aren't typical. Avocado, bacon and turkey on rye instead of squaw. Sounds like an odd combo but it worked. This was hands down one of the best sandwiches I've had. Bread was fluffy and soft. Avocado and turkey were plentiful. Bacon crispy. Ordered a large combo but should have ordered regular. Will go again. Hopefully, I can score some squaw bread. Update - had #46 deli-k-sea on squaw. Soooo delicious. I had to go back for more. Tuna on squaw bread with avocado and pepper jack cheese. It was all I could think about afterwards. Chef salad was also good. What you don't see is the spinach leaves mixed in, thinly sliced eggs and avocados and shredded carrots.
Great choice for vegetarian sandwiches. I love their bread . very fresh and taste yummy. highly recommended.
This was a nice surprise. I have been in this area frequently while visiting family and decided to try a different sandwich shop. CJs had a high score so I decided to give it a try. The deli is small but very clean. The owners were nice and served us quickly. I ordered a pastrami sandwich which was served warm. The sandwich was good but I would have liked more pastrami on the sandwich. I also think the prices were high for the sandwiches. It was almost $40 for two regular size sandwiches, chips and sodas.
