Beyond their size, small businesses are defined by their spirit. And at the helm are their intrepid founders—scrappy, ambitious, and resilient. They invent and build things despite uncertainty, because it’s what drives them. Their risks lead to innovation that moves the world forward. And we need them.
My very first time coming here and I’m so glad I did. My co-workers told me about this place and had I come alone, I wouldn’t had known what to order! They ordered two different type of noodles, one with shrimp and the other with steak. Oh my goodness they were both DELICIOUS!!! We also had the wings and the popcorn chicken and the dipping sauce to go with them. Everything here was so good, and so full of flavor! Can’t wait to come again and try some more of their dishes.
Great spot for a fast lunch. The green milk tea is a nice balance of sweet and refreshing. The egg rolls were nice and crispy and the provided sauce added a sweet and spicy tang. The bulgogi steak sandwich was delicious and the veggies perfectly balanced the richness of the steak. However, the sandwich was kind of difficult to eat because there was full stalks of cilantro on top. Still delicious, just unwieldy.
My bf and I come here every now & then, and every time we visit, we always leave satisfied. Parking: They’re located in a small corner plaza with limited parking. You can probably get lucky with a spot because there’s constant people coming in n out. Free parking lot. Ambiance/Environment: They have a shared space with Pur Bowls next door. Their side is also small with a decent amount of seating. It accommodates groups of all sizes. It can be a bit tight. Service: The cashier is very courteous, patient, and efficient. Throughput did take a while. We ordered 4 food items, and it took 16 min for us to receive our order. What we ordered: 1) NK Slider Burgers - These sliders were definitely flavorful. The grilled onions and mushrooms were delicious. The beef patties were also cooked well. 2) Cajun Garlic Fries - I paired this with the sliders. I felt there was a bit more garlic than Cajun seasoning. I still enjoyed the fries though I prefer the seasoning to be balanced. 3) Garlic Chicken Breast Sandwich - There was a generous amount of garlic cream sauce. I need to know what they put in this sauce bc it’s like crack. The chicken was cooked well, and the baguette had a perfect crunch. 4) Bulgogi Steak Bowl - This was bigger and more filled than we thought. We appreciated the amount of meat. The sauce on the side gave it extra flavor. 5) Peach & Lychee Green Tea - I looove this drink! It’s sooo refreshing! The lychee flavor definitely overpowers the peach, but I love lychee so it’s okay lol! Pricing: Prices are decent $$ for the amount you get. I’d say it’s worth it. We enjoyed everything and always leave fulfilled & satisfied!
Lovely place, but the food was just… subpar. Siblings and I got the specialty noodles (one rice bowl) and were all very hungry, but even then the food was not great. The noodles were mushy, the cilantro thrown carelessly on top without being cut or trimmed, there was very little meat in the bowl. In regards to the rice bowl, there was an absolute mountain of shredded carrots and daikon, which would have been delicious but it was soggy. Nice place, good service n all, but man I felt queasy after eating all that mush. I didn’t even finish my bowl..
I was casually searching for a Vietnamese restaurant in the neighborhood that has outdoor patio seating, so I could bring my furry friend along. That's when Nguyen's Kitchen popped up in the search results. Located in Orange, CA, Nguyen's Kitchen shares a convenient parking lot with Pur Bowls next door. The service is fast and friendly - simply place your order at the counter, and your food will be ready in no time! The cashier recommended trying their special dishes, and since there were only three options, we decided to order all of them. Garlic Noodles with Grilled Pork: A garlic lover's dream come true! The strong garlic butter sauce complemented the noodles perfectly, topped with tender and juicy grilled pork. Crawfish Pasta: Although the portion size was a bit smaller, the flavors were incredibly rich. This dish was a surprise favorite, featuring baby crawfish, sausage, and al dente pasta. Grilled Pork Noodles: A classic Vietnamese dish done right! The flavors were well-balanced, and the grilled pork was cooked to perfection. The outdoor patio area was clean and well-maintained, although its proximity to the parking lot made it a bit less ideal. However, as a dog owner, I appreciated the welcoming atmosphere. Overall: If I'm ever in the neighborhood again, I'll definitely be back! Nguyen's Kitchen has earned itself a loyal customer.
