Excellent place in the area. We came today with my family, the staff is amazing, attentive, fast, polite. The food is delicious and BIG portions, it is definitely a challenge to finish!
I’m from Virginia and I can easily say this is the best BBQ I’ve had in California so far! I got the brisket, *amazing* mac and cheese (which lives up to its name, and the green beans. Mind you, the green beans are heavily coated in garlic and crispy onions (which I love, but it might not be your thing). My bf LOVED the fried chicken and corn. I want to come back already just for the Mac lol. Also to try the cornbread and ribs. Service was excellent too - never had to ask for anything. Seated immediately on a Sat night. A hidden gem in Orange for sure!
The food was incredible and bursting with flavor! I opted for the smoked brisket and half chicken. The chicken was incredibly tasty and easy to chew. The brisket was equally amazing, with a melt-in-your-mouth flavor. Don’t miss out on the cornbread as an appetizer! They were not dry and had a delightful sweet flavor. I've been coming here since 2014. It's been a couple years since I've been so I was excited to see if the food is still as good as I remember. It did not disappoint, Smoqued is still on my top 5 bbq places I've ever been to.
Very cool Ambient,good portion size dishes, taste of food was delicious, service was ok, waitress only came around twice.
