I truly loved the ambiance, the wine selection, and the overall vibe of this spot. Everything about the experience was beautiful and thoughtfully curated. Unfortunately, our interaction with one of the staff members left us feeling uncomfortable. We were initially overcharged, and when we politely asked for clarification, the response felt dismissive rather than helpful. It made what should have been a simple correction feel awkward. I still think this place has great potential, but I hope management ensures guests feel welcomed and respected throughout the entire experience. Leaving we were cheerfully saying bye. As we were leaving, we made a point to thank her and wish her a good evening. The response felt noticeably restrained, which left us feeling a bit unwelcome.

Pali is a neighborhood gem, and one of our favorite places in the area. We have been wine club members since 2021 and have had multiple private events at this location. The staff is always friendly and accomodating, and there is a great variety of wine to suit many palates. If you are in the area and looking for good wine and a friendly atmosphere, I highly recommend visiting Pali Wine.

Connor and Brett/ Barnaby were exceptional. Kind and attentive. Made excellent recommendations for wine pairing and provided some insight to local activities. Great atmosphere and delicious food. Conveniently located near the airport. 10/10 will come again every time I travel here

One word summary: Inconsistent. 3.5-4 out of 5 stars for ambience. The ambience here is nice. The bar area, the few indoor tables, and the outdoor patio make this a nice place to hang out. Very low key with just one or two TVs and no music blasting. Good for hanging with friends and having a good conversation over wine. 3.5-4 out of 5 stars on food taste. This is where I have trouble. The food quality is inconsistent. Example in the photos: first time I had the sourdough bread, amazing. Second time I ordered it, different presentation which greatly changed the taste. Disappointing. Now it becomes a "eh why risk ordering a $13 item when I can get consistent servings across the street?" I feel that the food varies depending upon who is in the kitchen that day. Also, food availability hours is also inconsistent. I've been here at 4 and have been told that the kitchen opens at 6. I've been here at 4 and have been able to order food. Also, the pours vary by bartender. 3.5-4 on service. It's not excellent. It's not great. It's just ok. I've sat at the bar and staff kind of chats amongst themselves. I'm not expecting immediate service but when I'm sitting there for 5 minutes with an empty glass, kind of not ok. Service is also very inconsistent. One aside: it's odd to me that at a wine bar, staff is allowed to wear sweatpants. So, so odd to me. I want to like this place as it's walking distance from where I live and the ambience is more appealing to me than Villains or Packing House. But, due to the inconsistency I've experienced, I'm always having to decide whether I want to open myself up for some level of disappointment or go somewhere else where I know what to expect.

This place has everything for everyone: excellent California wine, a cool creative casual atmosphere, good appetizers, access to great BBQ, and if your not feeling wine today a great craft brewery next door. Come for the wine, stay for the ambience. And it’s kid friendly. What is better than that?
