Pastor Jason's expository teaching of the Bible is amazing and sadly, so hard to find in South OC. I grew up with expository teaching, then switched to "seeker friendly" topical teaching and wow, my eyes were opened about the dangers of purely topical studies. I've learned so much more studying the Bible verse by verse again than I ever learned at churches who have the topical study model. Pastor Jason comes across as humble and very down to earth which is also important and rare, in my experience, for a senior pastor in South OC. I've prayed for about a decade that God would guide us to the right church and I finally feel like God has answered that prayer with Coast Hills Church. Come check it out, you will LOVE it!
This is a family-friendly community church with energetic, contemporary worship, and Pastor Jason is an amazing teacher who likes to connect with the people. Great outreaches, children’s ministry, and fabulous women’s ministry too. Loving church.
We love this body of believers and the Pastor- such awesome teaching. Pastor Jason picks a book and goes through verse by verse in an easy to understand but also a deep way (milk & meat and potatoes). Great children's program with super fun undersea murals and such warm teachers. Love the women's Bible study too! There's all kinds of support groups there as well (ie cancer care- which was a blessing in a lonely time).
Inspiring Bible based messages. Focus to enhance real and right relationships with God and people. Warm and heart felt congregation. Positive impacts made on community and those in need.
Our new pastor Chet is awesome! God is doing amazing things here. Love the kids life. This church really supports our children and youth of the community.
