Turk’s is a Dana Point classic! Great old-school atmosphere, friendly bartenders, and they definitely don’t skimp on the drinks. If you like a good strong cocktail, this is the place. 🍹 Always a fun crowd and a cool spot to grab a drink by the harbor. One of those places that still has some real Dana Point character.

Local gem, great to be back here after a long time. The first n chips are always delicious, along with the turkey club. Love the vibe and scenery.

Great local atmosphere marina bar serving subpar frozen food and basic liquor drinks. Eat before you come as the food is terrible. I ordered the clam chowder and fish and chips and unfortunately both were inedible. Service was leisurely done but the ambiance is classic coastal. Lots of locals. Great for a bud light!

I am going to write a review while I am motivated, peeved, and this is fresh on my mind. We walked into this location because it looked like a nice local spot for a cocktail and some lunch we walked in and a sign said "check in at the saloon doors " when we walked around a server said it was open seating and they would come to us at the table. Two servers kept walking right by us and ignored us. They went to every table around us, and refused to even acknowledge us when we tried to make eye contact. My boyfriend went to the bar to try to get us drinks while we waited, and the bar tender ignored him as well. I could hardly believe it, surely they had no reason to ignore us, so we stayed a few minutes more. Finally, hungry, defeated, and cocktail-less we decided to go next door to proud Mary's. I usually am very fair, and I have never written a bad restaurant review, but I was perplexed at the odd behavior towards us- 40 min without even offering a glass of water to a customer is ridiculous. Not sure if they cater to locals or if they have a preferred demographic ( hint, hint) - but I felt so disappointed, that I definitely felt it warranted some commentary. Hopefully, they do not do this to paying customers again- well, we weren't able to order anything, so we didn't get to pay, but we would have--given the opportunity . 😆 Side note, it worked out okay for us in the end; once we walked to Proud Mary's a hostess greeted us, and within 10 min, I had a nice glass of Sauv Blanc in hand, and he had a refreshing Bloody Mary in his, with a food order in, and then we lived happily ever after. I will be writing a nice review for Proud Mary's shortly.
