Beyond their size, small businesses are defined by their spirit. And at the helm are their intrepid founders—scrappy, ambitious, and resilient. Picking a dentist and finding the right one is very difficult for anyone. The fear of the dentist is so familiar to the majority of society. The sounds, smell, and pain can adversely affect how we look for oral health care or ignore it and make the problem more prominent. Dr. Maryam Waheed, D.D.S. & Moe, thank you so much for making this first-time experience at your office a fantastic memory of the beautiful job you two did for me. I appreciate an office with a sense of humor that allows me to entertain the room even when my mouth is numb, and you don’t understand a word I am saying. The splash of water, the iPhone watch, the CUP, the knowledge that we are all different, and your positive atmosphere and energy were reflected in the room during my visit. I am blessed that people like you and your office still exist. Thanks for putting your patients first. You deserve a congressional merit award for your professionalism and expertise in your field.
I thought about it carefully and decided to share my personal experience for more people to refer to. I am very dissatisfied with this clinic for three reasons: one is the random charges, the second is the random promotion of projects, and the third is the poor service. Now let me give some examples. In 2023, my 10-year-old daughter started to have her teeth cleaned at this clinic. My insurance company clearly told me that the teeth cleaning was free, but they always charged 15 copay. I thought 15 didn’t matter and didn’t want to get entangled with them, but in March of this year, they charged me 65 copay, but my insurance company said that children’s teeth cleaning was free, so I decisively changed to a highly rated clinic, which did not charge a penny. It is worth noting that in 2023, a female nurse told me to copay 15, but because I didn’t ask for a receipt and didn’t check the number on the credit card machine, when I went home and checked the bank statement, I found that they charged me 30. I called them and they said sorry that they charged the wrong amount, but I needed to drive over to get the cash! ! I drove for half an hour, and they made me wait for half an hour before giving me 15 one dollars! It was an insult to me! ! The most bizarre thing was a female doctor whose name I can’t remember. She always strongly recommended that my daughter’s baby teeth be extracted, saying that each baby tooth would cost $200, and four teeth could be extracted at a time. I didn’t agree, and now my daughter’s baby teeth have almost all fallen out by themselves, and there is no need to spend money to extract them! They are overselling and unscrupulous sales! In short, I am very disappointed with this clinic.
Doctor is friendly and knowledgeable. Assistant is quiet and gentle. Andrea is cheerful and well organized person on the front desk. After all dentist visit was not as stressful as most people think.
While dental care might be adequate, their administrative and billing practices have been nothing short of a nightmare. Despite numerous conversations and assurances, they consistently failed to submit charges to our insurance company, and even when they did bill us, the amounts were incorrect. It has been frustrating and time-consuming trying to resolve these issues, and I expected far better service from a professional establishment. I would advise anyone considering their services to be wary of potential billing complications.
