100% pure misery with Dr. Richard. I was told that I needed crowns, only to be replaced a few months later by root canals. I have never experienced so much pain. I'd prefer to deliver another child over what I endured in his office those two days. Each visit I had to pay quite a bit out-of-pocket, and I was asked to return again to do the other side of my mouth. At almost $1,000 in, I asked if I could postpone the other side for a month or two. My two teeth I allowed him to work on have never felt right. One, I had to get reshaped because it stuck so far into my mouth it affected my bite. I couldn't eat on my right side for over three months. Upon getting a second opinion at a new office, I was told that the other side looked healthy. I most likely had no need AT ALL for the destruction on my right side. (Mind you at this point, he has already tried to sell me SIX repairs on the left.) Lesson learned. Always get a second opinion. All his fancy technology is clearly to cover up a scam. He is a bad person. Please protect your families and do not make the same mistake I did! I cannot begin tell you how much I've cried over this. I used to love going to the dentist!
Richard was rough during cleaning and I noticed cuts on my gum immediately after. He also charged me over $1,000 co-pay to get my son's cavities done. We were at Richards office only long enough to have part of the cavity issues addressed before moving on to a new dental office. Our new dentist did not noticed any cavity that needs to be fix. That tells me, there was never any issue with cavities on my son's teeth and my son's suspicion was correct since our dentist prior to Richard never mentioned any cavity issues nor did the new dentist. We think we got scammed by Richard. All that nice TV and movies were just a distraction. I'm mad because I wasted almost 1k at Richard's Dental office. Looking back, I should have gotten a second opinion. Lesson learned. However, I am happy now. I've found an honest dentist (on Adams) not from home.
Went here for an emergency and all the staff were happy to help me, very clean office and friendly staff! Would definitely recommend anyone to this office! Definitely coming back :)
